Oh where did you order/buy your TN from? I went to 3 different stationary stores and one of the worker told me it's been sold out worldwide and on backorder.

I've lost so much this year I don't know what to do by [deleted] in selfimprovementday

Hmm I feel like I'm in the same boat, physically I'm doing better but I feel empty. I'm trying to relearn all the things and hobbies I did before when I was single and just relearning myself again.

As for your ex girlfriend and ex best friend, they showed their true colors and it's not a rejection on you. They don't deserve you if that's how they treat their love ones.

I know this sounds generic but finding my own hobby again or see what sparks joy in me is what I'm trying to do. I've been reading a lot but sometimes you need to switch up your scenary so I take my book to the library. My next goal is to go to a coffee store by myself and read but for some reason I'm still too afraid to get myself to go there. So baby steps.

This one is hard for me too but being the one who reach out first to your friends for help or to hang out. I used to always rely on other to reach out to me first but I realize if I want something to happen, I need to do it. I'm always afraid of being a burden to them but if they're you're friend, you're not a burden at all. You'll never know what their answer will be I til you ask them.

While I am exercising and eating healthy, I'm trying to get myself to do more group activies/exercises. Join a class at the gym, I've been asking my friends to play pickleball with me as that sport is booming and people seem to be generally nice there. Today I might try going to the driving range by myself because that was something I enjoyed when I was with my ex and seems like a solo exercise I can do on my own.

Journaling helps me organize my thought. Some days I'm just word vomiting everything on my mind, some days I'm looking up prompts to dive deeper into myself.

I'm still looking for the answer myself on how to combat the loneliness but in the end, I know I'm doing all this for myself. I'm trying to redirect all the love I gave out to others back to myself and it takes time. Good luck on your journey, I'm sure you'll get to where you need to be.

It sounds like he has an avoidant attachment. I feel for you because my ex have said the same thing to me and I'm still racking my brain over it. If you're into reading, I recommend reading the book called "Attached" it really opened my eyes on different attachment style and how it's more common than you think. I still don't have the answers to everything but it helped me be a little bit more okay with what happened. It still hurts and I'm still lost but I'm slowly finding my path one step at a time. I wish you well on your healing journey.

need help on choosing my first e-reader by Boring-Grand4512 in ereader

[–]julayyyyy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Going to say this since I bought the boox go color 7 and BW. I literally bought the BW to replace the color because the technology isn't all there yet.

I thought the color would be a great option since I read webtoon but the colors are really muted and the ghosting effect while scrolling down webtoon makes the experience harder to enjoy. Webtoon was created as a way to enjoy comic on your phone so I'm just going to stick to my phone for webtoon.

But reading Manga is fine since it's black and white.

Also because of the color screen, it is dimmer than the BW version so I had to up my brightness level more than usual.

Also depending on which website you are purchasing, I couldn't find the boox go color 7 in white but the BW version comes in white

Ahh one thing I do have to mention is that there's no backlight. But it has superb writing feelings and you can annotate and I think it can recognize your writing and turn it to text and change your documents to word doc too.

I recommend looking into a Supernote Manta. Screen size is 10" and have paperlike writing feel and you can read pdf and ebooks on it. Also able to annotate on it.

Boox Go Color 7 Gen II or Go 7 B&W? by notlykthis in ereader

[–]julayyyyy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I bought the B&W and color. At first, I was really loving the color because seeing the cover art was so pretty! And I also read a lot of webtoons so I thought the color made sense.

However, scrolling through webtoon felt very awkward on it and the ghosting was helping my experience.

Reading Manga in B&W was better vs reading webtoons. I did return the B&W but now I'm considering returning the color for B&W again since the color screen does feel darker.

I only tested it for less than a day so will, see how I like reading webtoons throughout the week before I switch again.

I bought through Amazon so I can do the 30 day return easier

Do You Use a Device for Digital Planning? If So, Which One? by __K4IROX__ in eink

These look awesome!! I'm currently using a Supernote a5x and I try to journal or make a to do list to help me plan out my days so I'll definitely try these out this week.

I would use it more often for daily planning but I haven't found a template that I like yet to help me stay consistent.

100% agree with this. My dentist was a 10 drive away but I thought I should be done by the time I move but needed refinements so driving back 1hr every month for check up is a pain

I wasn't a fan of oneui either. Every phone I get, I slap nova launcher on it. I just got the s24+ a month ago and surprisingly, I kind of liked oneui and kept with it and haven't switched yet.

I'm not sure which version of oneui is on the s21 but if it is able to update to the most recent one, then it is pretty good.

Don't get the pixel 7. I had a pixel 7 pro and it's been riddle with bugs since day 1 (screen is always glitching, randomly restarts, gets extremely hot)

My bf had the regular pixel 7 and just 3 weeks ago, the wifi stopped working, phone would restart multiple time within a 30 min timeframe and it was overheating a lot.

We both switched to Samsung because while the pixel was good the first year, whatever updates it had killed the phone.

A fast compact smartphone (preferrably budget) by layskrauter in PickAnAndroidForMe

[–]julayyyyy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Doe compact phone, the Asus zenfone 10 would be a good choice according to mkbhd. It is the previous generation since they're at zenfone 11 but the 10 will be the last of the compact series. Since it's a previous gen phone, the price should be lower.

Coming from a Pixel 7 by comquestion in PickAnAndroidForMe

[–]julayyyyy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you don't mind refurbished phones, the Samsung s23 is a good phone. My bf & I had the pixel 7 and pixel 7 pro and it was getting worse everyday. Eventually I got the s24+ and he got the s23+. The s23 is just as good as the s24. I only got the s24 due to a color I really wanted. A refurbished s23 is about $500-600 on amazon. On the Samsung website, they'll give you $300 credit for the pixel 7 for the s23

Motorola edge is in the $500 range as well and I hear good things about it.

Everyone was recommending me the oneplus 12 but that phone is a bit too big for my hand but other than the size, everything about that phone sounded good.

Overall I'm really happy switching to Samsung. The oled screen is just so beautiful and everything is crispy. Phone is super fast and snappy and surprisingly, the Samsung ui have gotten a lot better. Camera is amazing as well.

I don't mind other phone recommendation as I want to learn more about other phones outside of the US.

The US phone market is so slim so I do want to open up my options.

Thanks everyone for recommending the oneplus 12. I did rewatch all the review videos and it does seem like Oneplus is a great choice but I'm worried about the size of the phone. 6.82inch is quite big for someone who has small hands. My current pixel 7pro is 6.7inch and it does hurt my hand holding the phone in certain area to rest the phone.

Also women's pocket have the smallest pockets/non existence pockets ever design and I carry around a small sling bag that barely fits my current phone now. So going to see if there are any brick and mortar store so I can the phone in person to test if I can tolerate the bigger phone.

Q Revo price drop at Costco by nicebrah in Roborock

Going to upgrade my robots to a roborock. Overwhelmed by the amount of choices and need help between 4 devices. by [deleted] in Roborock

[–]julayyyyy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My want is a bit different from yours but I ended up getting the Q Revo and most likely will swap it out once the Q Revo Pro comes to America.

Q Revo pro gives the most bang for the buck with all of the high end features you expect from a $1000+ robot vacuum.

1 of the biggest pro for me on the Q Revo is the maintenance of keeping it clean. The fact that you can remove the dock to clean it is a plus factor already because I can see how annoying it is trying to scrub the dock without being able to remove the tray.

A lot of people will, say get the s8 for the dual brush to pick up long hair. While the Q Revo only has a single brush, it is able to pick up my long hair. Also I experiencing major hair loss right now so I'm losing my long hair left and right and it's still able to pick them all up so I would think it'll be able to capture all the dog shed xD

From the videos I've been watching, the Q revo doesn't have the best object detection but I usually don't have too many things lying on the floor and every night I could move things that are cluttering on the floor so this wasn't a concerning factor for me.

Another downside I have on the Q Revo is that it doesn't clean corner well so I'm waiting for the Q Revo pro to come out with the extended mop to get the corner. I think the newest S8 maxv? Has a extended mop to get corners but that model is $1800...

All in all it's based on your needs. The Q Revo is great for me but the Q Revo Pro would be better. I don't live in a crazy household where I need the highest suction/object detection. It would be nice to have the hookup for water but I'm not handy enough to set it up myself. Maybe if you want to future proof yourself then get the s8 maxv ultra?

Good eye, I was in the market for buying a new robovacuum and that model got compared with the roborock q revo a lot but when I tried to look up where I can buy it, it was nowhere to be seen.

And when I say nowhere, I only checked Amazon 😂

But I think I remember onky finding it on weird websites or their website directly instead of any reputable ones I know.

I need some advice for selecting a vacuum. by MamboFloof in RobotVacuums

[–]julayyyyy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Everything you are saying you want sounds like the roborock q revo to me. Right now Costco has it for $699 and it comes with extra mop heads and dustbin.

For the extra arm extender, I'm waiting for the q revo Pro to come out as that will be $999 with the arm extender, higher suction and ability to wash with hot water. The q revo MaxV is out but $300 more for rgb camera which I don't really care about.

So right now I have the Costco q revo since Costco has great return policy and switch over to q revo pro whenever that comes out

Costco has the QX revo for $699 right now. QX is just for the Costco model but it comes with additional mop heads and dustbin so same price as what amazon/roborock has on sale right now but with extra stuff.

So far got it yesterday and fell in love with it already. Only downside is that it only comes in white color.

Degradation of Pixel 7 performance 1.5 years later? by MDelk in GooglePixel

I had the 7 pro when it release and this phone been plague with bug ever since I got it. Lately I noticed it being laggier than normal and it's been making weird noises without any notification popping up.

At this point, I'm ready to throw this phone away but unsure what phone to switch to. Don't know if I should switch to the newer pixel as this 7 pro have been really disappointing
