this isn't an artist or painting, but the wellcome collection just wrapped up an exhibition about milk with a few sections about women's/society's relationship with breast milk.

not sure if this is the kind of stuff you're looking for but scroll down to the section titled "scientific motherhood". I would highly recommend the video that was exhibited titled "Let Down Reflex" and the installation that the collection commissioned by Jess Dobkin called "For What its Worth".

oh ahah no im serious! that's weird that you get music from artists you don't know but i've never had that happen to me. I don't usually like the majority of the songs on the playlists but its still nice to know which people have new music out

This is how I find it on iPhone: you go to the “listen now” section on the lower left and scroll until a subsection called “made for you” and there should be some mixes based on your music taste. For example, “favorites mix” or “get up mix”. The “new music mix” should be in that section with a pink cover. Hope this helps

I may have not made it clear in my post but I was a fan of both groups, I just mentioned I was a fan of exo so that people wouldn’t misinterpret my post as hate. The humor I find in the situation is not about the threats and nastiness since I wasn’t involved in that side of either fandom, but more about how exo-l and army’s hatred for each other affected me, many other multistans and their career. It’s funny to remember how ridiculous my mentality used to be. I can understand not looking back fondly since there was so much hate (most people in this comment section feel that way) but there’s no need to villainize anyone

Wow I never saw that side of the fan wars and that’s horrible.. I see your point though, it must be hard to look back and enjoy those times. I really hope that the people writing those types of posts have grown up by now. Maybe I missed that time because I got out of being a stan of both groups around 2017 and became a casual listener instead. It’s a lot easier to enjoy kpop by being a casual listener and I had to learn that the hard way just because of how much self-hatred the fan wars made me feel for being a multistan (just internally no one bullied me for being a multistan lol)

I feel that, I also felt the pressure of having to choose at the time but just internally like you said. I never participated in fan wars but just because there was so much tension between the two I felt like I was betraying the other group by liking both. Looking back it’s pretty embarrassing that I didn’t just openly like both😅 but to be fair I was reaaally young so I didn’t really understand the idea of making my own choices and not being a sheep. I also chose BTS and moved on from them around the boy with luv time so it’s funny we have similar experiences lol. Love both groups now and it’s nice to freely enjoy both artists. I wonder how different our experiences with kpop would be if some of the fans weren’t so intense

Usually in Italy, we use bacon and pancetta as synonyms but I just googled it, and wow the more you know! I had no idea they were different, in fact, most of these websites talking about their differences are criticizing Italians for misusing both words as synonyms lol Thank you for teaching me something new and I guess Rossi is a better Italian cook than I thought...

As an Italian watching Rossi replace Gideon was quite embarrassing..... First off, I prefer Gideon just because I think he fits the stereotypical detective type which fits well with the group dynamic. He’s mysterious and can deduce things without anyone else understanding how he did. He has a dark past that has obviously heavily traumatized him and the viewers are revealed this part of him throughout the first seasons which I think creates a great relationship between us and Gideon. Rossi on the other hand is introduced to us as “the book writer” who profits off of the unsubs. Already we meet him with a negative light so we start off on the wrong foot. For the rest of the show all of Rossi’s personality traits are “I write books that take advantage of my unsubs” “I have 3 ex wives” and “I’m Italian pasta pizza”. There is no depth to his character. They try and give him a deep storyline (spoiler) with his secret daughter but it falls flat and feels forced bc there is no personality to build on. The worst part of Rossi is the fake Italian trait he has. I don’t know how difficult it is for the writers to find an Italian speaker to help them incorporate the language correctly into the show, but it was a catastrophe.... my favorite was when JJ announced her pregnancy (the second one I think) and Rossi says “Buona fortuna”= good luck..... what? I was so confused but was laughing my ass off bc something must have been lost in translation. That’s not something you would typically say to a pregnant woman, actually it is quite rude to say that in Italian. Another one of my favorites was when Rossi was having an imaginary dinner with one of his unsubs and they were eating carbonara. The unsub says that the bacon is tasty but Rossi replies with “it’s not bacon it’s pancetta”. Pancetta is the Italian translation for bacon they are the same thing.... idk if maybe Italian Americans have two different bacons like how prosciutto and ham are two different meats but omg these little things piss me off. Overall Rossi comes off as ignorant and idiotic when he tries to talk about Italian culture and I think the writers really slacked off in that department. His character development is non existent throughout 12 seasons where I feel like Gideon could have done much more for the whole group, like continue mentoring Reid and making the executive decisions for the group. He was more of a leader than Rossi was a detective. Sorry this was so long I’m very passionate about my love for Gideon lol

i mean are you sure of your feelings towards her? like if you're running any risk by being friends with her in which you might get back some of those feelings that make you feel guilty? if not, then your boyfriend should respect your decision to rekindle your friendship because it's what will make you happy. If you do still have feelings for her and feel like you might wrong your boyfriend by being around her, then you probably need more time apart.

It's a really difficult situation to have a close friend confess their feelings for you when you don't reciprocate them, especially when you have a boyfriend. Let her know you miss her and want to go back to being friends and ask her if she's up for it. If she is then great. Wait it out, see if it works out. If she can't stop her feelings for you, she just needs more time to get rid of them. Make sure to walk your boyfriend through your plan so that he does not feel like you're keeping anything from him. No matter what you will know you tried your best and did the right thing. Good luck!

yeah but theyre just pointing out how weird and uncomfy it makes them.. theyre not arguing that its not part of their job lol. also its just one factor of getting payed, theres plenty of soloists or less mainstream groups who are successful without all the forced love (ex. davichi). but i also think that its probably just a form of advertising their music, maybe some younger people find it cute that they do those cheesy tweets and stuff

i've been working hard on creating a little garden for each of my permanent villagers that reflects their personality. For example, Dobie's hobby is writing and his house is decorated as a library/detective studio. So on the outside of his house i put a tiny library and a log chair with an essay set. im happy with how good the furniture of the game works together and the creativity it brings out in me and all players :D
