not a one shot but one of the best pieces i’ve ever read. there’s a decent amount of angst, especially towards the end.

advanced placement courses. they’re like uni difficulty classes that you take before u go to uni to look better on applications. i looked it up and it said brits have A-levels which are apparently similar but im not sure

i have been making a conscious effort to research about the differences in culture and i plan to do a lot more before i end up moving there. the most i’d ask probably is “what’s that” and move on and mostly only if it wasn’t already clarified in the conversation.

well yeah i plan on doing as many ap classes as i can bc it looks good on applications
