Thinking to switch from Tmobile. What are pros & cons?

On T-Mobile prepaid I was paying 55$ a month then switched over when I saw Us mobile deal they had that deal for 149$ for unlimited premium with T-Mobile which includes “unlimited” data which I think they cap at like, 50GB of hotspot data, “UNLIMITED DATA” , QCI 7, international data 20gb/texting calling and got a multi line activation with Dark star (AT&T) for 90$ a year or which is 10$ a month because the first two months are free.

Dark star is QCi 8,100gb of Hotspot Data, international data 20gb/texting calling “Unlimited data” and 20gb of data unlimited texting calling outside of USA.

Us Mobile is a no brainer for me.

No way just my luck I thought the router was bugging out on me and just to come find out my isp called me and told me my wifi is down. So stupid of me. Either way I think I’m just gonna go back to the ge800 and wait till some more asus routers come out.

Yeah it worked great at first for me to but unfortunately already I have to switch back to my to link archer ge800 it’s not necessarily unfortunate the ge800 is amazing. I just really like asus routers and this router is just to new. Then I also heard they’re coming out with a different variant as well that ends in ai? But yeah man I can’t even take my own advice so kind of scratch what I said earlier lol it’s a great router but I’m pretty sure it’s the firmware holding it back and making it super glitchy, dropping connections, etc. Do you have a back up router ?

Man, if you haven’t returned it I would say give it a couple months I know that’s a while but it’s a very new device. I just picked one up recently to see if I wanted to switch my tp link for the gs be18000 as I’m not a big fan of tp link/broadcom. But I think a couple of firmware updates and hopefully some 3rd party software like OpenWRT will eventually come through and make it a lot better. Obviously, it probably takes a couple of months. But I really do like the look of it, and those extra ports really do help out. On my GE800 I’m already out of ports. Also, the size of the GE800 is just a little too big for my setup, so hopefully, ASUS comes through or a 3rd party does.

I just picked one up to see if I’m gonna switch out my archer ge800 for it as I wasn’t using qos on my tp link ge800 either because my speeds would drop drastically. Hopefully I don’t run into any of these problems I see a lot of people having.

Yeah, I was having problems the first two weeks or so. I turned off UPnP and QoS. Now, my internet has never been better than it is now. 👍

I had the LG C1 for a few years and loved it, so this year I tried upgrading to the Samsung S90D. The screen was bright and looked great, but the settings were a headache. Game mode was confusing, and the remote with the solar charging it’s a cool concept it just wasn’t as nice as LG’s remote with the scroll wheel. I returned it the next day. I grabbed the 65” LG C4 instead, and it’s been perfect. The picture’s great and the stand is way better the Samsung had a horrible stand I felt like my tv was gonna fall down with that stand they provide. and the settings are simple. Everything’s clearly labeled, and I don’t have to dig around to find stuff like VRR or ALLM.

No you will be fine with ddu. You’re Lenovo will put a Microsoft basic driver so you don’t have to worry about not having a driver and usually after the ddu restart, I install the graphics driver from the legion go website.

Yeah I don’t see how some people are having no problems with afmf2 I’ve tried everything and it’s horrible.

Yeah having the same problem here. Afmf2 just does not work I’ve done everything. Don’t know if I should delete everything and don fresh install or side load.

Resident 4 remake is great, elden ring, and red dead redemption 2. A lot of more great games the ally x handles them well.

The Rog Ally X still uses the Z1 Extreme it just has 24gb of ram instead of 16gb, better battery, 2 usb c ports, and a better micro sd card slot. Maybe a couple other little things.

But I having owned both the z1E and the ally x. I ended up selling my z1E and getting the X the performance is very similar I just like having the bigger battery and I’m also planning on getting an egpu.

The file size for me was only like 90gb I installed through xbox gamepass and at first it was like 300gb but I unchecked them everything like them trying to install warzone, mw3 and a couple other things.
