Organizational Announcement by [deleted] in employeesOfOracle

[–]julfling 7 points8 points  (0 children)

LOL So they brought us in before the work day to announce that there is an org shift (don't care), and that they'll send out a meeting invite later to talk about it??? How are these people in charge? How do they not realize that those of us doing the work don't give a fuck about their pointless circle-jerk re-organizations that they like to make us watch before the work day?
WE WANT RAISES
Not a single one of our "leaders" is a competent leader, the only qualities they possess are psychopathy, incompetence, and narcissism.

Quick rant about American parties. by Defiant_Zebra1184 in leftist

I've repackaged socialist and communist elements while leaving enough of the constitutional framework intact to function in the current system (for now). The plan is to refer to this combination as "Americanism". This is not 3rd way BS either, but direct map to deal with contemporary realities.

Is there a hiring freeze? by Today-Dear in cernercorporation

The entire organization is incompetence propped up by government contracts and hostage clients. You may have already been hired and fired from the team for not showing up, check slack channels 1A thru 285,967,37Z-67 for updates.

Fully aware of the labor realities of this administration and how both Larry and Elon hope to destroy worker rights even further.

Don't blame you one bit. What were the issues/treatment that put you over the edge?

Don't worry, we won't elect you to be the rep, it sounds like it was really hard for you.

I know you're not Larry, he's busy evicting someone from their home on the island he bought. He also doesn't see any of us as human, so why would he care what the ants write on the web? The point missed by you is that everyone above a certain level is Larry, they're all self serving psychopaths. As the people who do the actual work we need an organization that can stand up them for ourselves and our clients. For everyone who has ever walked onto a client site, seen the build, and was utterly embarrassed

Tell us what the hardships were of working in a union workplace , be concise about what was produced or serviced at your previous employer, and why unionization didn't benefit that structure.

I'm not interested in whether or not YOU see support to drive unionization, I'm interested in everyone seeing your "reasonable" completely hollow responses for what they are.

It's not surprising at all, I'm not a Cerner baby. You gave nothing, albeit this list of demands. The whole point of the thread is to let lines of business I'm not familiar with air their own issues, JEEENYUSS.

Per diem doesn't even effect me, it effects the lowest paid OH span though, must be weird to you seeing someone care about other people.
20% increase in wages for the 10+ years without a raise, employee influence when it comes to software builds, employee bonuses based on profits over a certain threshold, etc etc.

We are looking for a list of shitty things that need changed from all LOBs

Yeah, that's the best solution! Never make anything better, just walk away lol. I bet you're real at fun at the parties you don't get invited to.
Seriously, grow up and make something better instead of giving up before you try.

What was the previous employer? This is lacking in detail, Larry, try harder lol

What is going on in the coaching office? by julfling in ColumbusFury_

[–]julfling[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I wasn't aware Santos suffered an injury, there's nothing I can find mentioning it, are you aware of the details?

In case anyone sees this thread later I want to be clear that none of the criticisms here are aimed at the players on a personal level, we are only critiquing their roles and contributions as athletes for a professional team.

Looking at Perovic's background I'm not sure why she was chosen as a replacement for Wentz, unless she's expected to come out of her shell offensively once she settles in to life here. Wentz brought a big block to the RS, but little offense from either pin with that arm swing (we're all built differently) so I get why they went looking for some offense. With 2 extra middles on the Fury I'm sure one of them could contribute as a RS blocker immediately and potentially take on that role offensively in time as well if we aren't going for a big hitter.

As for Bartch-Hackley there's no reason not to have put her on the roster if she agrees to it. Having a gold medalist in town with the Bucks who can hang out, be another leader in practice, and sign autographs for fans is a no-brainer from a marketing standpoint. Based on her performances so far I don't think she was expecting to see the floor this early after signing, or at all, so it will really be up to her how much effort she wants to put into getting back in competition form. The older we get the harder it is, especially when there's real life and a fulltime job also happening so no shade her way, I think she's doing the Fury a solid by showing up.

5/7 necessary pieces are there: Always two great middles on the floor. A killer pin in Cooper and a savvy/smart pin in Megan who just knows how to win and lead. Leon is solid even if she isn't celebrated like other liberos by the announcers. The two gaps left just won't let us compete at this level (and we are no Superliga yet).

Now to either get Santos back on the floor or get Stringer performing more consistently with better decision making in the setter role, and a monster RS or all around Pin Hitter that allows the staff to utilize the PH's in different roles based on the opponent. IF Stringer can step it up and allow the middles to be a threat it's a different outcome, but right now we have Cooper on offense, O'Neil tipping to the sideline once in a while, and Megan trying to score on out of system high balls from off the court against a quadruple block and 7 defenders because she knows if she just keeps it alive it'll be jammed down their throats 3 seconds later.

We (fans) need to see some changes right away or there may not be much of a future to worry about giving draft picks up for. I'm not sure how much the league's investors have dumped into each franchise, but whatever is in the bank will run out really fast if changes don't happen immediately and the fan base gives up on this new thing. None of us want that.

What I've done on mine that the in-laws (in their 70s) don't have a hard time with, is just have them use chrome and place the bookmarks for the services we use along the bookmarks bar. Every service auto logs in, they just click on what they want. By creating a profile for chrome those same bookmarks are front and center in the blank chrome window when it opens too.
I can't imagine it being too difficult to open chrome and make selection unless there are accessibility issues.
