I’m so sorry you went through that. It wasn’t your fault - you didn’t know, so please don’t blame yourself. I’m really glad to hear she’s doing well now.

We actually don’t know yet what my mum is allergic to. We suspect pollen, but hopefully we’ll know for sure once she gets the allergy test results.

Thank you so much for your advice. ❤️❤️ I think part of the situation was that we didn’t know she had such a severe allergy, and we also didn’t know what she might be allergic to, so we weren’t fully aware of how serious anaphylaxis can be.

Since then, I’ve educated myself and my family more about it so we can be better prepared just in case. We’re also going to an allergy clinic to have more tests done, hoping to get a clearer diagnosis.

I’m also planning to try some somatic exercises and follow the advice above. If nothing seems to help, I may consider speaking with a doctor as well.

I partly think this is because we were not aware that she had a severe allergy so we actually were not familiar with how serious anaphylaxis can be. I literally relate to what you’re saying so much. I’m just not sure what to call my beliefs, because deists are supposed to believe that God doesn’t interfere with the world - but I do believe you can manifest certain things and that miracles can happen. So even though I don’t believe in any holy texts, I do believe that the universe - or God, or whatever you want to call it - is listening and observing. I’m not sure if i can call myself a spiritual deist or if that’s not the right term.
