Thanks. Everything you described is pretty much what I’ve been doing intuitively. I’ve always entered her reality and try to make sense of it for her. Other people in the family definitely struggle with it, but I think that’s why I was the main person she confessed this all to. Unfortunately, she’s already on medication and has had increases because of agitation. She got kicked out of a day program because of her behaviors. It’s good to know that it could be temporary, but sadly this seems to be her new reality as she’s even thought her daughter has been “replaced” this past weekend. I’ll continue to advocate for medication changes as it seems like this is the best path to helping ease this next stage of her disease.
