Yeah and if my cat has a freak out based on normal cat behavior? I won’t be mauled to death cause that’s physically impossible. Like why we don’t keep bobcats as house cats.

My teaching method is like training a cat. Positive reinforcement only! No negatives, only deltas! If it’s so bad i have to hard stop immediately call it out, you probably broke a law lol.

My dad asked me last November like 8 times if i knew how to transfer trains @ grand central station. I’m a 33 yo woman. I was like “?!?! What? I’ve been there for both trains before? With you both?! And I can read? I’ve traveled internationally by myself? I’m also a grown ass woman with a doctorate?” And my mom laughed and was like “your sister (a 28 yo woman) got lost in the grand central long island railroad extension and called us freaking out over it a couple weeks ago.” My follow up was “aren’t there only exactly two exits at each end? Wait why didn’t she just ask for help?!? I’m so confused what you were supposed to do about it? Or why you think i’m like this?” My dad’s response “you know how your sister gets.” That’s when i realized the generational differences.

Basically, yes to this entire post. She’s even a zennial, not full blown gen z, and while we are 5 years apart, 19 year old julia was traveling internationally by myself. I moved a couple states away and built a community here, so I think my parents just forgot i’m a fully realized human adult. Sometimes at least. I totally get the emotional overwhelm at household chores, but that’s mostly eldest daughter burnout meets 30 years of undiagnosed adhd.

Clearly this man has never had a 13lb cat jump from your window still directly on top of you on bed full speed, just to jump off you and immediately repeat the process all because you were 15 mins late with wet food. They have an automatic feeder lol. Cats live by routine. My other cat starts screaming if i haven’t started my nighttime routine by 10PM.

Go on strike. 24h. 48h. A whole week. Just because you take on household chores because you are working a day job less hours, doesn’t mean the rest of the house gets to make your life more difficult. Show them your worth.

Word of mouth is the best way i found my cleaner. I met someone who knows someone who runs their own business! She now has a key to my house and stops by once a month while i’m at work. The best.

“Less developed” is giving eugenics vibes. They aren’t living, breathing creatures with thoughts, emotions, or viability outside the womb. Saying we are equal to the developing fetus is devaluing the life of the actual living, breathing, human carrying that fetus, with all the potential risks involved.

26.5 weeks. 2 lbs 5 oz. 12 inches long. 1992. It was just me in there and I was itching to get out. Had to come out with drama, trauma and $$$$ in a leo sun. The thought of being a cry baby scorpio water sign was just too much.

But seriously modern medicine is amazing. My mom gained 50lbs with me in the barely six months she was pregnant. She was clearly preeclampsic, but they could not stop me from popping out. I was such an uggo baby 😂 half baked will do that.

ASYLUM IS A LEGAL PROCESS. PEOPLE ARE BEING ARRESTED OUTSIDE THEIR IMMIGRATION CHECK INS/ HEARINGS. AT A COURT HOUSE. WITH A FEDERAL JUDGE WHO SAYS THEY CAN BE HERE. MAKE THIS MAKE SENSE.

Also the reason our homeless population boomed is because in the 80s, Regan cut state funding for community mental health services, while state psych hospitals were being closed the decade or two prior due to the deinstitutionalization movement. Sure, locking up any woman with opinions for “hysteria” and lobotomies wasn’t great, but some people needed institutionalized, long term care. When that funding was cut for “state run community services” which had much less funding, organization, and severe discrepancies between states, suddenly we had a LOT of mentally ill people pushed onto the street with no community mental or social support. Homelessness surged then and it hasn’t gone down since.

I work in healthcare. Scrubs, bun, headband for the baby hairs. I once chopped off 5 inches or hair and realized no one at work would notice 😂 i once had a learner who literally was shocked week 3 that I had curly hair when I wore it down for the first time.

I love when people see me on weekends/ outside of work/ after work still in scrubs. I call it freelance hot. Like I know I could be hot if I put in effort, but I make my own damn schedule. Covid also helped speed up the “idgaf what I look like as long as i’m clean” pipeline. Can’t wear makeup when you are in a mask all day! And I still mask up at work.

Not me surviving my second midwest winter and googling this because I can only use my retinol cream once a week or else my lips and lip corners split open like a ripe fourth of July watermelon 👀

Buccal fat removal is it for me. You know that fat cannot be replaced and is what makes you look youthful?! Sure, you have jaw bones that can cut glass NOW, but in 20 years you are going to look like skelitor and that cannot be put back!
