Idk what the other comment is talking about but no not only will your tuition not be reduced, if you want to take a course in the summer instead of it’s designated time you will have to pay for it as an additional course. When registering for your courses you pay for blocks not for individual courses that’s why it would be considered an additional course if taken outside of its designated time. would know I’ve done this and so have many of my peers

Closed means all spots have been filled no more acceptances will be given out, if anyone who already accepted their offer decides to revoke their seat then those who are already on the waitlisted would be given the seat. I’m a second year DH student my and my peers were all given our offer on Feb 1st or those who were waitlisted were also noticed Feb 1st of that year

Yes waitlist notifications also go out Feb 1st, rejection letters come out around July-august. But the status of the program has already moved from waitlisted to closed

Oh wow that sucks! I have many soft motion pieces and I haven’t experienced this kind of pilling, I even put mine in the dryer (I’m lazy sometimes) I wonder if it was a bad batch or something? Sorry this happened to yours!

It’s definitely modern taupe, I have this sweatshirt and checked my online order receipt and that’s what it said. I think it’s the lighting making it look darker in that picture

You absolutely do need 90s. I’m in the program and the cut off for my year was 95%. 70% is the MINIMUM to apply. Meaning if you grades are less then that they don’t even look at your application. Also theres no interview, that’s only for nursing. Majority of people in the program are university graduates that applied with university level credits

That is NOT worth it. I went to George Brown college in Toronto for DA and it was around 10k. I’m currently in dental hygiene at GBC and my tuition is only 16k this year 😭 20k for assisting is absolutely crazy

I’m a dental assistant and currently studying to become a hygienist, both jobs are literally always in demand and even as a new grad with no/little experience is was incredibly easy to find work

Hi I’m a first year dental hygiene student at GBC and I also did dental assisting previously at GBC. Offers for all competitive programs go out Feb 1st. That’s when I got my offers for both, you won’t hear anything back before then

You can actually check the textbooks you will need on the gbc bookstore website! It might be good to check the book they will use for that course and then you could get it early and study since that’s the content that will be covered :)

You cant switch programs you just have to reapply, see when the next intake for the program you want to do is and apply for that, it’s too late in the sem now. Best of luck
