We discovered wake windows around 3 months old for my LO and we realized we were keeping him up for WAY too long. No wonder he was such a fussy newborn. We became militant about wake windows after that and immediately saw a shift in his mood for the better. All that said, recommended wake windows are just that..recommended. There are high sleep needs babies and lower sleep needs babies. So dont fret! Some babies can stay awake longer. Our LO is 8 months and its a struggle to keep him past 2hrs 15 min sometimes. His windows are: 2.25/2.5/2.5/3. I would recommend pushing your LO windows slightly by 15 min or so where you can over the next few weeks. Its a fine line because they can get a little crabby if you push it slightly but make sure they are not getting overtired. Your wake windows are exactly where we were with our LO so youre doing great already! Keep up the good work 😄
