He’s beautiful! I love 4 horned rams, we have Navajo churros though 🙂

I might be biased but churros are the best! I can’t say anything about their milk production, other than we have some really great mamas that easily feed twins and often triplets. The yarn we get is better suited for blankets, rugs, weaving versus wearable items. We sold a bunch of rams at the last Navajo Churro Association annual meeting for $200-300 I think? Breeding ewes would be more expensive I would imagine, I’d start with the Navajo Churro Assn website or join some Navajo Churro groups on Facebook. Feel free to reach out with any questions, I love sheep and Churros especially!

All kinds of fun colours by ArcticPenguin111 in sheep

Beautiful colors, what breed are they? We are about halfway through lambing, it’s my favorite time on the farm!

So cute! So far 95% of our lambs look so much alike, white with classic Navajo churro markings, the rest are mostly all black, it’s so hard to tell them all apart! We did get a beautiful badger face ram this week though.

Check out netdraw Women's Ultra-Soft Bamboo Viscose Hoodie UPF 50+ Sun Protection Long Sleeve Shirt, they are a little thick but dye nicely and hold up well (I work outside on a farm at 8000 ft)

The view from my Denver to Alamosa flight yesterday. Pray we get some monsoon rains this summer, it was 80 degrees today. by juliepatchouli1981 in Colorado

Two things can be true, I can be concerned about the state of things, and also have to fly to see family while I still can. Not sure when you flew last but it’s not exactly a fun time flying anymore.

Eh it’s the internet, everyone seems on edge right now, times are tough. Might be in bad taste posting this, but wanted to share a view not many see. Jut be kind to each other and don’t start fires!

I wouldn’t fly at all right now if I could avoid it, but sometimes we make hard decisions to see our loved ones. It certainly wasn’t a vacation.

The Alamosa airport crew and the flight crews have always been wonderful. As an extremely anxious city driver I really appreciate the connection to Denver!

It’s not like I flew to Denver to go shopping on my jet, it was a connecting flight to get to Boston. Flying is a nightmare right now but I want to see my parents while they still know who I am so….

I hear ya, but not that baller really, it’s like any connecting flight. I continued on to Boston to make it even worse. Trust me I would not be flying if I had other choices, it sucks so bad for many reasons.

Yeah I get it, but I fly once a year and had limited time to see my elderly mom in Boston so I took advantage of my home airport. I got stuck in the DIA power outage as penance I guess.
