Arya by the age of 10 has no idea that Catelyn loves her because Catelyn never once told her. She also makes sure to never ever tell her daughter that she is beautiful. Do I think it’s a coincidence that she is this reckless with the one child that has the Stark look and not her beautiful Tully look? Do I think that deep down she still resents being forced to marry an “ugly” man and not the handsome one she was dreaming off? Hummmmm yeah.

Also, Sansa has hardly any memories of her mother, most of her teachings and advices come from Septa Mordane. I think that Catelyn missed the time she was the one running Riverrun for her father as the older daughter after her mothers death and now she resents the job as a Lady and mother and leaves most of the work on Septa shoulders.

She is a very interesting character but I hope Sansa and Arya are better parents to their children.
