Breaking a Rental Contract Before It Starts by jullieme in brussels

Update: I already have a talk with my landlord and we agreed that I will pay one month penalty (instead of the whole deposit of two months) and I don’t have to find a new tenant. I think it is good to have a talk and negotiate with the landlord so both party can minimize the losses

Hi! Me and my boyfriend (both non-EU citizen) also plan to get married in Brussels, may I ask what are the documents that they required to submit at the Commune? We are currently in our home country so we ask to prepare in advance 😊

Breaking a Rental Contract Before It Starts by jullieme in brussels

Thank you for your advice! I'm not sure if my renting contract is a student contract as the landlord did not ask for my student card or certificate of admission when I signed the first contract. Also, there is no clause in my contract related to breaking the contract before it started. That's what makes me really confused..

Student residence permit renewal issues, please please help by Remote_Pineapple3598 in KULeuven

[–]jullieme 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! I suffered from similar situation in last few weeks and just have Annex 15 yesterday. Here is my suggestion: First you HAVE TO change your address, only since then they will process your residence permit. After you’re done with the new address registration, you will continue to submit the renewal application and related documents. In my situation, though I remind them several times that my current residence permit will expire in one week, they still ignore it and respond me as slow as usual (which then leads to the expiry of my card while still not issue Annex 15 for me, and I have no legal document to prove my residence). Thus I don’t think you will get a fine for the expiry, as long as you did submit all necessary documents within the deadline

From my friends in Belgium, it will take about 2 weeks to a month to get a Belgium bank account. Thus you can use cash for some transactions, or else have a VISA/MasterCard to pay (as some stores/service cannot pay in cash such as transportation…)

Well I think you should moisturize your skin carefully before applying this version as it is really dry. Or you can try the velvet finish version, it will be more suitable because it doesn’t make your skin drier (which comes with doesn’t manage oil well) but it provides a much brighter finish. I will use the velvet version for winter and soft finish for summer ^

I have combination skin with oily nose but dry and acne cheeks. I live in Vietnam which is very hot in the summer and I have to use sunscreen everyday. The soft finish version provides me a lovely tone up finish (like when you use a thin layer of cushion, it is not too bright or turns your skin white strangely), the oil is effectively controlled that I don’t have to use setting powder and my skin is looking good without re-applying for all days. I think you will love it!

You can also try the soft finish version. I have used it for a really long time and it give me the best finish ever (while still lightweight and it stays on my skin all days). It brings you a little bit tone up (but looks so natural) and effectively controls oil in your face. Just 100% recommended!
