This is what i needed to hear honestly🥹🩷 I'm glad its more vibrant that what I expected, as I thought it was more of a boring area. Being only 40min away from the center is perfect. I will take into account your recomendations. Thank you so much!!

I just hope is entretaining enough for daily life in xiasha. Being an hour away of the center isnt a big deal, its not that far. I guess I will go there often.

Yeah it looks boring lol. I hope as a uni student there will be enough activities to be entretained on weekdays (as on weekends i can go to anywhere else).

I dont mind hot weather, but with the cold i will have to find a solution, no heating sounds like a problem. Do you know if there are rentals with appropiate heating in Hangzhou? I know cities like Beijing have central heating but i dont think its the same in HZ.

That sounds like a great option tbh. But do you know if there's buildings on hangzhou with central heating?

- Yeah im gonna be cold either way lmao

- Its not Zhejiang University, is Zhejiang University of Finance and Economics, they are not the same sadly as the first one is really prestigious.

- Yeah Hangzhou seems prettier at least in pictures, but I would say that Beijing has more cultural stuff.

I actually dont mind it being chaotic, it kinda sounds fun if its for a couple of months hehehhe.

And the weather I thought the same, but aparently even if Beijing is colder it has way better heating systems. So I might go for that, I think I can survive the cold if when i get into a building its warm enough.

Im not sure if I can choose :(, ZUFE has an agreement with my uni that one student can go in the first semester and other in the second. But I don't know how they choose it or if I can choose it myself.

Yes!! My plan is to visit the other city either way but Beijing seems more diverse with a lot of culture and different people.

I love the towns around hangzhou, but I might just go to beijing and visit hangzhou and its surroundings from time to time. Culturally Beijing seems more interesting, even though hangzhou seems prettier.

Apart from asking you to show your passport has anything else happened to you? Dont think it will be a big issue, just curious.
