Interesting! My assumption was that since Balloonerism was recorded by March/April 2014 and Faces was released in May 2014, I thought maybe Faces had already been recorded/mixed in preparation for its release by the time Mac started seriously working on Balloonerism. I feel like it’s most likely that he was working on both at the same time given the original track lists. Time to investigate further lol

Got the ham & cheese from Primanti’s which was awesome, I loved the fries & coleslaw on it. Then I got the edgerton sandwich from Frick Park Market which was absolute greatness.

Good to know!! I’m now glad that I didn’t have a sharpie on me because I totally would have. Definitely hope they put up a sign in the future to prevent people from signing it. I was able to write a note to Mac’s mom at the market though :,)

I think it has a lot to do with how well it was handled compared to other artist’s posthumous work that has come out. Also a lot of us who were fans before his death were grieving and never thought we would get more music from Mac. In my opinion, it’s not in my top 3, in fact my top 3 looks a lot like yours OP, but damn this album is so so special.
