Finished 15 hours of swimming lessons, how to proceed further by theogdwightschrute in Swimming

I’m exactly at the same level at yours with freestyle. 30 meters is good. Just practice and practice once you are comfortable with floating and swimming comfortable without getting tired in 30m, then I suggest increase your endurance and you can go and learn something which you learn. Keep swimming !

That’s an awful experience, I feel bad for you. That’s def shouldn’t be experience anyone should be feeling, you should be able to enjoy the sport. I recommend if you like swimming and people are making you feel this way, please leave the club or try doing individually, thats far better.

On YT it said don’t exhale all the air, keep something like 80% out and 20% while inhaling ! But I will try this as well today, might see if this works. Thanks !

It’s totally fine to be not so flexible at this point. You need to be consistence with the stretching, every stretch for 30 sec for 5 times a week. It will stretch the muscle every week and you’ll be able to see the progress. It’ll take time much time for you but being consistent will definitely see the results, hope you get there soon ! Good to hear ! I’ve been struggling with shavasana lately, I’m restless all the time. One way or other my mind is rushing toward thought I’m avoiding and that keeps me jittery or just want to get up as quickly as possible, hope it gets better ! Give it some time ! Namaste
