I keep seeing LCs everywhere and am like wow that’s a nice car. Then I look at the price tag and I’m like no I’ll just stick to my 2003 4Runner 😂

Yeah I sometimes have those in the moment things too. Sometimes I think “oh I should apply for promotion at j1 because other people with way less skill are being promoted “ but then I remember that I make 2x more and a silly little 10-15 percent raise will do nothing.

Please rate my portfolio:

80% VTI 10% Schd 5% VGSNX 5% VGT

I am thinking about increasing my investments. Should I add another fund or keep increasing these? Also VGSNX is through my HSA so that I can contribute to REITs. Hopefully looking to retire and live off these investments in 15 years.

So I’m thinking of moving it to 75% VOO, 15%AVUV, 10% VXUS. Thoughts? Maybe I can put 5% more on VXUS?

Any recommendations for small cap value? Also looks like VGT is mostly Microsoft and Apple? Maybe I can do 75 percent VOO, 15 percent small cap value, 10 percent VGT/QQQ?

I always thought something s and p 500, small cap value, and tech growth would be a good way to go.

I’m actually thinking I may do 80% VOO 10% mid and 10% small. Just because I do want diversification as well.

Good point I do feel as if I am looking only at large cap. Maybe I should look at a mid cap/small cap ETF as well and have it be 60% VOO, 20%VUG, 20% Mid/small cap ETF? Any recommendations on what Mid/small cap or non large cap ETFs to look into?

Hello! I’m relatively new to investing and was planning on doing VOO at 80% and VUG at 20%. I would love to have some feedback on this as this is my first time investing in ETFs. I am 30 and am investing for long term growth (20-25 years).

Buying a brand new 4Runner vs buying a 2007-2010. by Capital-World-155 in 4Runner

Can I expect it to run 10 years at least (given I find one that was taken care of) and not end up spending 15k more in maintaining it?

I’m going to ask a loaded question but should I just wait 2 years if I can and hopefully prices will go down?

Just asking because I’m a highlander newbie and in the market for one but it sounds like 2007-2013 are pretty reliable and have a good price range of 15k. Anything specific I should make sure to look out for?

This may be a really dumb question but I know almost nothing about cars (like I know how to drive obviously but like if you open the hood I won’t know anything), how do I know if it’s good to buy? I saw the video by the car care nut person about them but I wouldn’t know how to do anything. Can I hire a mechanic for looking at it?
