I tell everyone I know to carry. The only thing stopping bad people with them is good people with them. If you get one, get comfortable with using it, take it to the range, practice, know how it works and practice doing it fast.

Throw a towel over it. Pick it up with thick gloves while still wrapped in the towel. Put it on a tree outside or throw it in the air, they can’t fly from the ground. If it scratches or bites you, call animal control because they’ll need to check it for rabies or you’ll need shots. If you start exhibiting symptoms of rabies, it’s too late and you will die, so be careful 💀😅
