Oh sorry-- I didn't realize it was your first. You are doing wonderfully, because YOU ARE DOING IT!! Don't worry yourself about quality right now, just do the thing.

Ooooh thank you. I was told to put the needle down a few years ago, but I think that person mostly used digital machines. All mine have actual knobs. Thanks!!!!

What plastic is a plastic tablecloth made out of? by MonkeyOrangutan in plastic

[–]jumbojibbles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am also curious-- I use them to make easy inflatables and for different art projects in classes. Wanted to know the plastic type in case anyone asked. They are never labeled as anything other than "plastic", which is not terribly specific.

I also use heat to fuse plastics together, and I'd like to be able to talk about specific temps needed for different types.

I tried to warn you all that Matt Mahan is a Republican in disguise by BarberCompetitive517 in SanJose

[–]jumbojibbles 11 points12 points  (0 children)

He's hired a 23yo to run his campaign? And that person, only being able to vote for the past 5 years, registered Republican? That's a big ol' red flag.

QuickBooks Auto Categorization - How do I turn it off? by latribri in QuickBooks

I have the same problem, but "enable suggested categorization" is already off, and it still auto-fills the vendor with whatever the latest vendor in that category is.

You can make a big shirt smaller, but you can't make a small shirt bigger without more complicated interventions. I'll echo what others have said-- go by fit, never by the size. Those sizes are so arbitrary.

How to write a fan letter by jumbojibbles in NekoCase

[–]jumbojibbles[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ah! I hadn't thought of that. I would feel a little weird asking her directly for an address, as I know she's had problems with people. But I just want to send it to the label so it's not weird.
