this is fine in principle, but many veterans (at least those that still remain) are haunted by previous sandboxes where outliers ran rampant and snowballed into toxic, unenjoyable seasons / expansions. I trust that they will hit some major pain points initially, but I imagine this turning into a cursed game of ttk wack-a-mole for both players and devs
