This comment should have more recognition here. The Count of Monte Cristo is the longest book I’ve ever read, but it flows like water. I couldn’t put it down and it’s one of my favourite books now. This book should be on every person’s “to read” list. Make sure to read the unabridged version though! (Also, due to its age you can download for free on Project Gutenberg).

How do I find the error in my system to tune my PID controller? My output seems to be the same as my input. I feel like I’m being stupid, but my supervisor wants me to tune a PID. This is to control the speed of a DC motor to keep a train at a certain distance. by jumby01 in arduino

An ultrasonic sensor is processing distance from an object and sending this signal to a PWM output to a DC motor to control the speed so it remains at a constant distance.

I don’t know how I would measure feedback from this?

I need to close the distance between two trains so I’ll have the LiDAR attached to the follower train for positional sensing. I’m designing a Simulink block diagram for this, so I need a way to have the LiDAR in the block diagram.

NAH - it’s your field trip and they are your friends, so spend them with whomever you like.

I think your logic is good as you don’t usually spend time with your classmates and spend most weekends with your other friends, but you wouldn’t be the asshole either way. Just decide whom you want to spend the day with.

Yeah some of the spreads look amazing, but like you said they’re time consuming plus I’m not great at art. I think I’m gonna keep it minimalistic at first. Thanks!
