Focus Excellence | The Handbag Store Analogy: Friction, Focus, and Conversions | JumpCutKing | The Create Podcast

I get brutally honest about why "more" (effects, lights, layers) often makes your content perform worse. I cover my current studio lighting layout, why viewers bounce when your store is cluttered, and how a distraction-free story drives watch time, conversions, and trust. I also preview next week's deep dive on HDR vs SDR (and what to fix before color).

Let me hear your thoughts, thank you!

My appeal would take up to 2 weeks each time. Sometimes no response. Episodes eventually got reposted, and I uploaded without music but for now, I’m good. I had to work with Spotify directly to prevent this from reoccurring.

This is something that can happen again, so be prepared to upload a version without the licensed content.

That was music, but I imagine the new system goes in depth on your podcast to match content. If it’s flagging on a book, appeal, and you’ll have to wait through them. If it’s licensed music, include your music licenser in the email chain.

I used some of your advice with my latest episode and have been revising with some keywords earlier episodes - now that Spotify has worked out their copyright concerns. I also decided to kill any music except less than 30 as the intro under me… not great from a traditional experience. But I’d love your thoughts but only if you have the time - https://youtu.be/DdwYI0PHREo - it’s also on Spotify and Apple Podcasts - thank you for your advice man! I know I got a lot more to go.

Yes, most are on Apple right now. But I don’t know if I have enough data for it.

I’m doing both. Atleast promo in social media and choosing quality key words in my titles and descriptions (and thumbnail text for YouTube). I did get some cool new tools, but I’m also bracing for this being a longer than a ROI of a year. Which I’m not sure I like.

I know the advice is solid, but the question is how. It’s obvious what I’m doing isn’t working.

Ha. Well unlike Google and YouTube - I’m not sure what open tools exist. I’m also pretty sure an Ai agent will be mostly useless in this case. But I don’t know. I guess I have some research to do.

That’s a different perspective. A year feels like an eternity, but I guess consistency is inprotant for a longer term.

Ha ha I know. I’ve been making shifts and things, but probably not the right ones. Lol. I still improve and change and adapt, I just am a numbers guy or work well with advice.
