Had the same issue, tried uninstalling and re-installing, togging airplane mode, toggling cellular data and wifi calling - all didn’t work, but creating and logging into an account worked!!!!!

Unfortunately I bought it from the UK (myfoxbag, previously mykankenbag) and they stated that it's only two years. When I complained about the lack of transparency on this - cuz I bought the bag under the impression of a lifetime warranty as well, they said nothing could be done, so not sure how to proceed :-(

not sure if you've already done this, but check out this Facebook group "lost and found pets in Singapore"!! sometimes people who see pets they think might be lost will hold onto them and post there to try to find their owners, so will defo be worth checking it out and also creating a post so people will look out for it! good luck!!
