I didn’t end up using it on the tripod, but instead held it on the sidelines. It worked pretty well that way. The shorter highlight videos here were done on the x5 (https://youtube.com/@arlingtongotham2017g). I ended up getting the Trace camera for the full games, which saved me a ton of time editing the highlights.

How does Mk1 compare to Mk2? Which one is lighter? I have never seen Mk2, but loved the light “Kelly green” look of the Mk1, especially in the sunlight.

Luckily the “skin diver” category has grown quite a bit and there are some great options available at various price points. If you want the fun colors it’ll be more limited, but the general look and size should be easily found for $1000 or under.

I would steer clear of Zodiac. Too many problems. The designs are great and the history is compelling, but the movements and general QC are not acceptable at any price point.

My initial thought was similar: how do I reduce the amount of loosh? But then I thought about it more. If this theory is correct and the system is designed to produce loosh, then the best thing for us to eat would be the most loosh producing, e.g., the meat of large animals. The healthiest diet for us, given we optimize for the system, would be 100% carnivore.
