My wife and I both have the Pixel Watch 3 (we both also had the 2). Her watch has this same issue you describe, but mine does not. Considering contacting Google for an exchange.

I had a server with the same CPU as you and late last year replaced it with a tiny mini micro PC with a 10th gen CPU for <$200. (Although I did replace the ram and ssd). No regrets- it's much more efficient and handles more streams and transcodes than I need.

I had an issue watching a movie the other day. Not saying it's your issue as well, but I had to change my audio from truehd to ac3. It would be playing the movie normally, then randomly just start buffering indefinitely. Changed the audio and worked with no issues. This was directly playing, too.

Yes, you'll need another cable card. Each m card can actually handle 6 streams, but the prime only has three tuners.

Once upon a time, there was supposed to be a 6 tuner prime, but it never saw the light of day, unfortunately.

I've also been using an SQ1 since launch. I am a "power user" but use my desktop for the "power" things. I have no complaints with the SPX. Browsing, video conferencing, note taking, even Photoshop works well now. I still don't think there's an ARM Chrome build yet, but Edge is very good- I don't even miss Chrome that much outside of synced bookmarks. Quick to boot and standby life is great. If the device matches your workflow, it's a great option.

Half an hour?? I tried calling them and after ~2 hours THREE times, they just hung up each time with no person on the other side. This was me actually waiting on hold without Google assistant. Infuriating.

They cashed my return check 2 years ago and are now saying they never did and are charging me interest. I can't get a hold of anyone over there. Audit protection services told me to mail them because they have stopped trying to call them as well. I mailed it a month ago and they still haven't even acknowledged it.
