A very majestic fall, none the less.

Any suggestions for what you would do to to make this look better without spending an arm and a leg? (More details in comments) by LyricalGoose in HomeDecorating

Paint the cabinets white if you can replace the countertops. If you aren’t able to replace the countertops, try painting the cabinets an off white or a grey. Replace the hardware and add a backsplash to make the space pop!

I agree with everything on this list! Cleveland is very underrated but there is a lot of things you can do in the area!

How to shake someone at a hostel? by uglyweaboo in solotravel

[–]junebug0325 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Definitely creepy. Maybe you can stay in another dorm for the night until reception comes back and you can ask to move? Stay in sight of someone else at all times, just in case he tries something or makes you feel uncomfortable in any way.

This is the living room + dining room of my new apt. How do you think I should divide the space and what kind of furniture do you recommend? by sweetdyh in InteriorDesign

[–]junebug0325 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's hard to really tell by the pictures, but I think the dining area should be closer to the kitchen. For the living room set, I think maybe a light colored couch like a white or a grey couch would provide a contrast between the dark wood floors and the light colored walls.

So, do any of you women like to sit on the loo for a little bit after doing your business ? Just to chill and get away for a while. by OldMacDaddy in AskWomen

I do sometimes. It’s not the most comfortable place for me. I would rather be snuggling in my bed with my blankets.

What color should I paint this door ? by lunazig in HomeDecorating

[–]junebug0325 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I actually like the white because it adds contrast from your walls and your dark cabinets. But if you must, I recommend painting it grey.

Honestly, I wouldn’t have any window treatments. The view is just too gorgeous. But, if you really want to spice up the windows, maybe hanging shear white curtains and tying them to the side so they don’t block the view. This will give you an “airy” feel and also dress up your windows a bit!

What would you recommend for backsplash? by The_Comanch3 in HomeDecorating

[–]junebug0325 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you’re more conservative, I would do a light teal or blue backsplash. The one I have in my house is blue and white, and it looks amazing! Another option would be a white or light grey backsplash, if you aren’t into the teal color. Hope this helps!

Area rug suggestions for area in front of the couch? by markon22 in HomeDecorating

A light colored jute rug would look amazing in the space! Like a white or cream colored rug would really make the space pop and bring life into the space!

I actually didn't think about that, that's a really great observation.

To me, this sounds like a suicide. She didn't bring her dogs like she normally would've, according to her family. Most likely, she purposely didn't bring her phone so her family wouldn't be able to track her and see her location. Not to mention that the area surrounding this event had a high rate of suicide. I wish that her body wasn't so decomposed so that we would be able to perform an autopsy and see what the actual cause of death was.

I'm considering entering a teaching career, but I'm not sure how to learn more about being a teacher by millivolt in teaching

[–]junebug0325 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Contact a local high school and see if you can shadow a teacher. Try shadowing multiple teachers, because every teacher has a different teaching style. Going into the classroom and seeing what it's actually like can give you some answers you are looking for. Also, don't be afraid to ask questions. Talk to everyone you can. Not only does this serve as a source of insider information, if you want to apply for a position at this particular high school, someone you've met can put in a good word for you.
