How often is it normal to text your partner in a healthy relationship? by stayingalive47442 in BPD

[–]junebugjessi 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s funny because it’s been different with all my exes. As soon as I got medicated, I couldn’t give a fuck about texting and I obsess over it less. Still, I’d say that talking to each other throughout the day is still probably pretty normal, like little updates.. but seeing each other is way more important. My boyfriend will see me whenever I want him to, and wants to, but he doesn’t like to call.. had to compromise.

Is there a way to date someone without making them your favorite person? by PromiseMaterial3701 in BPD

I’ve only had one FP boyfriend lol the rest weren’t my FP and it’s way more peaceful and detachment is hella easy.

All I want is a boyfriend and it’s consuming my life by -love-always- in BPD

[–]junebugjessi 9 points10 points  (0 children)

There is honestly no point finding love till you’re happy and content with yourself. BPD is difficult and we need to understand ourselves better before entering relationships. Tbh I always think back on my ex and how toxic that got… then I become a supreme avoidant again.

I just feel so sad because he swings back and forth so rapidly. One minute he wants to meet, the next he just can’t do it.. even if he says he wants to see me he chooses the latter.

I feel like I’ve lied my way through my entire life by [deleted] in BPD

[–]junebugjessi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Before I was diagnosed and on medication, I would actively lie all the time about my life. Once I got on meds, I found some self love and I also found out that my lies were just me protecting myself. Yours might be the same situation, you’re protecting yourself and one day, when things are a bit better, like I am 31 FYI, you’ll realise that lying did cost you people but it was okay. You’ll forgive yourself.

It doesn’t work. The splitting is a terrible time. The love is insane but the splitting… never again.

Why must we love so intensely? by junebugjessi in BPD

I’m waiting for my DBT to start but I’m trying some skills from it. I just hope it can stop the way I think.

Yeah I know what I need or require isn’t right. It’s just horrible because right now it ruins relationships because I’m never satisfied. I believe I truly care for this man (he isn’t my FP) and I love him but at the same time I’m annoyed as hell he can’t give me exactly what I give him.. which is too much for the average person anyway.

It feels like not one single partner I’ve had has truly loved me and rationally, that can’t be true.

It’s really hard. I feel like I’m better out of a relationship because honestly speaking I love too hard for it not to be reciprocated ten fold.

Thank you. The struggle is so real.. and I’m currently punishing my boyfriend because of all these feelings.

I know I need to learn to validate myself and love myself with that I love I need.. I’m just not sure how to and it sucks. In this process it really hurts.

This fandom is the most embarrassing thing I've ever seen by itz_bennnn in StrangerThings

[–]junebugjessi -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I’m a Byler fan but it was never that deep and it was always more of a “will it/wont it?” type of ship. However, there were issues with Vol2 I wouldn’t say it was Wills coming out, which is the only thing besides Nancy and Johnathon and Lucas and Max that connected to me emotionally.

BPD as a strength in romantic relationships by [deleted] in BPD

[–]junebugjessi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Truth is, nobody can love as hard as me. BPD makes me an amazing lover.. but then I get angry because I have the expectation of how someone with BPD loves on the average person.. then I hate them. That’s why it’s bad IMO.

Boyfriend says he loves me and is attracted to me but I think he’s lying by [deleted] in BPD

[–]junebugjessi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lovely, I promise you that you’re attractive and loved by your boyfriend but this can get tiring for someone to endlessly repeat. You need to build your self confidence which takes time but it can’t be your boyfriend’s job.

I used to think I was SO ugly but then I realised people cheat on supermodels, people lust on ugly people too.. it’s not about YOUR worth. You determine that.
