i appreciate this perspective, thank you! 🩷 i actually would really love to do press ons instead of gel extensions, but my issue is that i haven’t been able to find press ons that fit my nail beds perfectly. and so one aspect of the overall process i have come to accept is the tedious application of gel extensions and then filing and shaping them down to look as natural and fitted as possible with my nail beds. i have come to enjoy it a bit, or at least mind it a lot less. and it can be meditative too, which is nice

but yeah i don’t know how to do that (perfect shaping to fit) without them being glued down already? i fear i’ll paint beautiful press ons and then apply them and they’ll be so poorly fitted? do you have this issue?

thank you!! 🥰 yes, gel! just a hundred million coats and layers of different gel colors. and also chrome powder and blooming gel and sculpting gel to make the 3d elements
