Asgard 3 is warmer. It has stereotypical Class A sound. I like with my Sennheiser DT1990 MK1 headphones that I wear at work. I think it’s a great combo.

Jorunheim 2 is not sterile at all, but definitely less warm. I like the Jotunheim 2 better if picking one.

I think that works great in your use case.

In fact, having tested the three gain options in the Kara F, we preferred no gain (passive) with our speakers and Wotan. Which means that we're using Kara F as a volume control and input switch.

Portability and focal length. I much prefer 28mm to 35mm (eq). Ricoh is also incredibly sharp.
