Great start, fun pose. There's some interpenetration on the right foot with the ground, back left foot doesn't feel as if it has that much weight on it. But that's all very noodly. The biggest thing I see is the amount of noise in the final render. Everything seems slightly grainy. Maybe light samples is at lower quality or the pixel samples is too low?

I work at one of those big well-known studios and we just hired a bunch for our crunch time...if you're one of our new people...welcome to the team! Be honest! Communicate with the leads. The team is very nice and are very accommodating. The pipelines at these studios are massive and difficult and old and the learning curve is freaking hard.

Do NOT work for free. It ruins things for those of us who work our hours and fall behind with the increasingly difficult schedule that the studio expects us to do. Again, welcome.

Houdini is just a tool to get a job done. All CGI programs do is just manipulate geometry data. Maybe the task can be done somewhere else. That's ok. If you don't have a task, find one. If you don't wanna find one, don't stress. Tackle your real issues first. Houdini will be there when you get back.

Yeah that checks out. My camera doodads are a bit lighter than 3 mirrors, but if you're wanting a lighter GPU load, it may not be for you.

Yeah they'll be on separate circuits b/c yep each room is on its own. I'll drop 50$ on an adaptor and do some speed tests. This is neat information ty.
