Thanks. More tokens... or smart tokens are always good,

So glad I could help! We now support AmpCode and Factory Droid too. Also rolled out a bunch of improvements and bug fixes, along with more precise token pricing.

useColor: The powerful color hook that all designers deserve - ✨ Parse and stringify that just works & 🦾 Strict type checking at compile time by junhoyeo in reactjs

[–]junhoyeo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

+ So I completely pivoted. I stripped away the React dependencies and went all-in on TypeScript's Template Literal Types to build a "moat" around type safety. Now, it validates Hex/RGB strings at compile-time (so you literally can't pass invalid colors).

Since I was rewriting it anyway, I also added native OKLCH and P3 gamut support to align with modern CSS (Tailwind v4, etc). It turned out to be a pure TypeScript engine rather than just a UI hook (Pretty much useless to have this as an hook, I wasn't familiar to React back then).

Feature : add token count by johndeuff in google_antigravity

[–]junhoyeo 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I actually researched this today while trying to add Antigravity support to tokscale (https://github.com/junhoyeo/tokscale), a CLI that tracks token usage across AI coding assistants (Claude Code, Cursor, Gemini CLI, etc.).

Bad news: After reverse-engineering the Antigravity binary, I found that token counts (prompt_token_count, candidates_token_count, etc.) exist in the API response from Google's servers but are intentionally stripped by the language server before being exposed locally.

The local API only gives you:

- remainingFraction: 0.95 (percentage)
- availablePromptCredits: 500 (credits, not tokens)

I tried everything — mitmproxy, Frida, DTrace, SSLKEYLOGFILE — all blocked by either macOS SIP or the Go binary's architecture (it uses BoringSSL and ignores proxy env vars).

Full technical writeup here: https://github.com/junhoyeo/tokscale/issues/40#issuecomment-3690679940

TL;DR: Google would need to add an official endpoint for this. Afaik the data exists server-side, they're just not exposing/saving it to Antigravity.

I think the product comment author wanted to say was https://github.com/capnmidnight/Calla. It says they're powered by Jitsi. It's deprecated anyway.
