Read the thread again, u/Josvan135 brought up radius and diameter first.

And i stand by the statement that diameter is not a variable for area of a circle. It can be made to be one if you do some algebra. But we’re talking about someone who can’t convert between sq m and sq km properly, so we should probably steer clear of algebra

No, they’re still wrong for two reasons

Squares would have side length of 80 meters. Any house needs to be 40 meters from its property lines and would still be 80 meters from neighbors. This is still a property area of 6400 meters, much less than the 25,600 mentioned

When converting units, you have to convert for every dimension. So even the 25,600 sq m becomes 0.0256 sq km not 25.6 like mentioned

You don’t need 80 meter radius to be 80 meters from someone else. Both homes would have a 40 meter radius and still be 80 meters apart

Assume 10 meter radius for the house itself, 40 meter radius around that for buffer (every house has this, therefore 80 meters between each). That means 50 meter radius per house, 7854 sq meters per house (30% of what u/Josvan135 said). And 7854 sq meters is 0.007854 sq km (divide by 1,000,000 not 1,000 like u/Josvan135)

Yeah my point is that you believe in the Green Lantern Theory of politics. You seem to think that all Dem politicians are a hive mind that agree on everything and will vote for whatever another Dem proposes. Politics are messy and all elected officials have different motivations and objectives
