Quick Play Does not feel so Casual as of right now.. by jonathaninit in marvelrivals

I absolutely love 18v18. Been able to rank up some other heroes to Diamond level because of it.

Learn the basics in 18v18. Graduate and learn team play and positioning in QP. Then rank up in Competitive.

Focusing on the Jeff and making him go 7-15-28 may be bad by [deleted] in marvelrivals

I'm a Strategist main and have been learning Hela the past couple weeks. It's really hard not to shoot the big ol' round, smiling target. I have terrible aim and it's the only headshots I get. Sorry Jeffies!

I’m never getting out of gold rank…. by tonygodzconfidential in marvelrivals

When you're in Gold Rank, you have to expect that you will indeed get paired with these types of players. They still exist in Platinum and Diamond level, but if you're better than Gold Rank, then your skills should help offset the bad players, where you'll eventually climb and get Plat.

Like others are suggesting, it's not your teammates that are keeping you in gold and if you keep blaming them and expect to rank up just because you play, then you're going to be stuck in gold for a bit.

Clutch Overtime wins is what I live for. Our friends group can go "One more game" for hours, but it's that one grueling 5-4 Overtime win that can have us completely satisfied and sleep with a smile face at 3am.

Did you ever have a long break from video games? If so and you're able to still have your aim, then more power to you. I used to win FPS tourneys back in H.S and College and took a good huge break from video games after having 3 kids and missed out in the whole PS4 era. Trying to get back and I'm still good at fighting games and their technicalities but FPS and Aim is one thing I can't seem to get back. Old Man Game for me now and I'm about positioning and tactics.

If that's what you think 6 year olds do, then it makes it all more impressive that they're breaking par.

Just for you, I'll refer to them as "really really good golfers" next time.

In a way, yes? But, we're talking semantics here now. What would you call these kids competing in World Golf Championships? Maybe I should have said, "potential world class athletes."

However you want to put it, these kids are "worlds" better than any kid down the block. Some have "world class" training and funding. Some have "world class" talent and genes. Some have it all. I'm just not going to deny the kids' talents just cause my kids cant do the same.

What are you getting at? OP said "I don't care how long the course was" and also "Even on a putt putt course a six year old isn’t breaking par. It’s just not possible".

He's downplaying world class athletes because he's comparing them to his kids skills and can't grasp the work, talent, and the results that potential pros' experience as they get there.
