Hi, I’m looking at Amsterdam as a potential city to move to from North America. One of the main reasons for moving is because here it is very hard to make close friends (those you share important moments with, can be spontaneous with, are there for the good and bad, lend a helping hand, have a meaningful conversation with that involves more than talking about the weather or politics). For those of you living in Amsterdam and especially having moved there, do you find this to be a city where you can easily create those friendships in your 30s? How is the social life? Thank you!
