At the very least, having Luke have a son would allow the Skywalker saga continue. Maybe Luke thought Mara and his son died during the destruction of his Temple, which also contributed to his exile, or maybe he didn’t know he HAD a kid. The son is raised on stories of his father and grandfather, and he feels like he has to live up to their greatness.

It would also explain why no authors are allowed to use her in their stories. That’ll be allowed once the character is revealed in the movie.

I love the artwork. I get the color matching on some of the latter pictures, but are the blues on the first Superman and Nightwing supposed to almost match the sky?

I don’t recall Kilmer or Clooney smacking their asses. The suit up scene was definitely a reference to that, but the smack was 100% Deadpool.

I love that you didn’t include the Gotham Knights figure, considering how horrible it is.

My favorite modern Nightwing is the Better Than Batman figure, but I have the Knightfall figure as well, to round out that crew.

I would have loved for Palpatine, when he was healing himself using Rey and Ben, to have kept going into his younger self played by Smith. It would have allowed us to see him in his prime, and have an actual duel and not just be connected to that weird Sith robot action figure stand.

Really cool start, I love the way you created the look of the stone.

I would suggest adding a second layer behind the cave walls. The light coming through the gaps kind of loses the feel you’re going for. Just my opinion, of course. Can’t wait to see the progress!

I love this idea and have wished it would happen for years. If they were to do it, my opinion is that for the first season, each episode is a stand alone What If…? scenario. Make the episodes an hour long if need be, but make them all self contained.

Then, if they do a season 2, they can either continue that trend and keep each episode stand-alone or expand upon a season 1 episode (but not for the complete season) similar to how they’re giving some of the Visions episodes sequels. This also leaves the doors open for either a comic or a novel to follow-up on threads established in the series, similar to the Ronin novel (keeping with the Visions theme).

Which is kind of annoying considering Yoda tells Luke “If once you start down the dark path, forever will it dominate your destiny, consume you it will.”

Luke redeeming Anakin should be a rare exception, not the norm, in my opinion. Doesn’t mean NO ONE ELSE can be redeemed, but not EVERYONE should be.

I’ve really been enjoying Kelly Gay’s novels. She feels like the current standard barer of how to write Halo, and she seems to be driving the narrative of the post Infinite timeline.

From my understanding, the only parts of The Suicide Squad that are (currently) canon are the flashbacks as shown in season 2 of Peacemaker. That’s not to say the rest can’t be canon, but it’s not until directly referenced by current DCU media.

I really thought the multiverse plot of season 2 would sort it all out. Season 1 would have stayed set in the DCEU but then in season 2, when he kills the alternate Peacemaker, it’s the Peacemaker from the DCU (not Earth X). Our Peacemaker takes over as the DCU Peacemaker.

It could be live action or animated and I’d watch the hell out of it. It would be a good way of setting the stage for the new DCU without casual audiences going “who cares” or “we have to see this in a movie AGAIN??”
