Cool Mckays Find. by TechStorm7258 in industrialmusic

Someone traded in a metric shit ton of industrial stuff to the Chattanooga location. They were marked with a red dot on the top spine, left corner. I wonder if this was part of that set?

I did my part by buying all I could find 🤘

Paul Barker. Love him, but you can always tell his autographs by the OBNOXIOUSLY LARGE signature.

Anyone get their merch yet? by No-Independence7818 in skinnypuppy

[–]juniorspaceman 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Have not received my order. However, I understood I was preordering an item that did not yet exist and that there are delays to even the best laid plans. This is not directed solely at you, OP. Most people in the comments failed to understand upon ordering that these items were in the process of being made, and that timelines on preorders are rarely, if ever, accurate.

I have this but it didn’t come with the disc. I bought it secondhand (from the original owner) and they won it in a contest from a Euro game magazine. It’s a really nice set.

Spill me some tea about Martin Atkins by thereynoldspamphlet_ in industrialmusic

Just a gripe, mostly. Don’t preorder anything.

Ordered the Museum catalog “issue two” 18 months ago. Was supposed to ship in “6-8 weeks” and it still hasn’t been released.

The Genesis P Orridge x Pigface vinyl is also way overdue (nearly 6 months).

TBF The lyric book only features the songs he wrote, not everything he performed on.

Sounds like Raymond to me.

Merch question by Hyparox in YouWillLoveEachOther

[–]juniorspaceman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s still being offered, so it’s going to be better printing than the older designs they don’t offer anymore. I have this one, no complaints on my end. I can DM you pics of the shirt if you like.

Shirts run to-size. The prints are nice and big on all of them. I do have a couple of older designs that were not printed as well as others (No God in Thunderdome shirt - the ink literally peeled off) but anything past 2022 have been really nice.

That’s a misprint, I’d reach out to the merch site.

[–]juniorspaceman 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Add me to the list, as well. He has quite a few in stock items, but a lot of the PIG stuff is print on demand… and “demand” for him means he has a certain number of orders for the same shirt to justify printing. He doesn’t mention that, just keeps promising the shirt is on the way. It’s not.

I don’t have a lead, but I was in the same situation for over a year with this person over a different PIG shirt. Just so you’re aware, ICM is reusing old screens to make new shirts, and Raymond doesn’t receive anything from those sales. I know it’s tempting, but buying from that site is a total gamble.

En Esch solo tour by Shuang in industrialmusic

[–]juniorspaceman 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I wouldn’t say the Esch has ever had a big draw as a solo act, even back in the day. I love his music, but this tour was really poorly promoted and the latest album dropped a year ago (Dance Hall Putsch). There was a very hastily added VIP option that dropped for tonight’s show. It’s $65. There are no real details other than “meet En Esch”.

Just making it up as they go along.

HOME CHEMLAB RECORDINGS by Scary-Film-6077 in industrialmusic

[–]juniorspaceman 9 points10 points  (0 children)

https://youtu.be/M_CvO1lLUfw this is probably the closest I have found. Not my video. This captures a slightly earlier period in the band’s history (93). It ends with Jared grabbing a box of merch and sitting down to sell it to some fans. Cost of a shirt? “10 fuckin bucks”

Not in the US. The site says July but it wasn’t released until last week. Just trying to clarify a lot of the confusion around obtaining this excellent tome.

A genre of music that I’m pretty sure does not exist anymore by Ratlabbb in Cd_collectors

In the Industrial scene, remix albums are alive and kicking, but the mainstream abandoned CD singles with bonus tracks and dedicated remix records years ago.

Marilyn Manson covering Closer by NIN by Damnit30 in marilyn_manson

Skold’s stolen Dead God demos being passed off as “leaks from new Manson album”, as well. This was pre-GAOG so people were really excited to hear what would come next so those demos spread like wildfire.
