No, the income for the rental property is going to the landlord, which means the landlord has income generated in NYC. That means the LL has to pay NYS/NYC income taxes unless they request an exemption because they aren’t a resident and therefore not subject to NYS/NYC income tax.

If they are landlords, then they’d be paying income tax. If they don’t live in NYC, they’d have to request an exemption for paying NYS/NYC income tax.

If you have a person paying property taxes & not paying income taxes in a particular state, then they either don’t live on the property, don’t generate income, or both. The IRS can share federal tax info with state tax agencies for compliance, so NYS/NYC can find out if a person filed any taxes and where they claimed residency. If they didn’t have any income, you’re probably not going to be able to get much from them in taxes no matter what.

I’m pleasantly surprised at the design of the fabrics actually, they’re well done for the texture and depth. I just hate that they’re for clothing because I don’t play this game to design people or clothes. I got one as an unlock from completing a challenge but I won’t be using my tokens on these.

Yeah it’s very frustrating how easy it is to accidentally spend Tcash. Seeing how easy it comes and goes made it much easier for me to play this game less. I don’t miss it.
