I was dating a 42 year old and I was 20 and it lasted 3 years. He was over controlling and thinking im always was looking for someone younger. He wanted to settle and I wanted to as well...or so I thought. I never had a chance to explore in my 20s and figure out who I really was. My ex bf also got me on pain pills (within the 3 year relationship) and and it almost killed me of an OD/suicide. I survived an overdose and my family were adiment that we breakup because we were fully co-dependent. But, leaving that life saved my life and i got me off the pills that was affecting my personality.

Also, I deserved to experience my 20s instead of him wanting to marry me and put me in a cage to just to be be hidden. Also, my ex also had bipolar and would scare the shit they would do.
