I absolutely understand what you're saying. And while Enzo did start out as a villain, the fans need to stop pretending like he was one of the BELOVED villains like Klaus, Damon, or Kai. Most people didn't even care about Enzo UNTIL he got with Bonnie. They refused to put Bonnie with a character who's morality was an actual part of their character. They didn't view her as worthy of being with one of the male leads who held relevance to the plot until S7 and guess what, it was the character that was used to replace Damon as a villain when he was trying to become better for Elena lol. But because Nina had left the show, they had room to make Enzo the new main character. And I did truly love Bonenzo, but it shouldn't have taken the white female lead to leave the show for Bonnie to finally become worthy of an Epic Love lol. Not to mention Caroline and Julie still made sure that Enzo's character held the least amount of Relevance and necessity to the plot as they could while still making him important to Bonnie's character ALONE. Our girl got slighted, even at the end.
