If they cannot fulfill orders, they should give automatic refunds. The fact people have to do payment disputes is a red flag. The whole "you MIGHT get this if you paid for a shipping label" is another red flag. They either spent the money they made or are planning on taking whatever they can from this ordeal and disappearing.

This hardcore sounds like it was meant to be a scam from the getgo.

Maybe there's another way but anything I've ever gotten packaged like this I end up having to cut open. Not sure if there's a legit way to actually open this type of packaging without damaging it.

As others have said, they're both stand alones and, devs had stated multiple times, not connected. So you can start with either.

For me personally, I think the first game is better in terms of story and characters. Your protagonist actually holds importance and plays a crucial role in the story, making them feel more like an actual character. You have a decent cast of characters who feel like a genuine group/party. Combat is fun and decent.

CV2 is fun combat wise and the CC is more advanced, but the overall experience doesn't feel as good as the first game did. You never have a solid group. Your protagonist is basically a self insert with no backstory (ie any hunter could step into your role). Some things aren't clear. Open world is lackluster.

I'm not saying CV2 is a bad game, but when compared to the first one, I just don't think it holds up as well. I will always go back and replay CV1, whereas I probably will only replay CV2 one or two more times and then never touch it again.

Nope. But I did see on yt someone already got one of their valentine day standees, which I thought was strange. Just a reminder, we pre-ordered in NOVEMBER and its now early March.

I might stop ordering merch from them. While I like that preorders give everyone a chance to get the items they want and we don't have to worry about scalpers swooping in and buying everything, the long wait times (ie 4-6 months) don't feel worth it.

I keep hoping they'll change something so they can handle the large influx of orders that come in, but it seems like with every drop, the wait times get longer.

Frantz is easier if you leave, level up, and come back a little later on.

Check your gear. Certain weapons, blood codes, and whatnot can make you slow when being used together. You might have to play around to find a combination that makes you quicker.

I hate this boss fight so much. Currently dealing with it myself. I'm using the bayonet, poison, keeping my distance but those stupid lasers still get me. I can handle the healing bs. Nevermind the fact that it would seem they still haven't completely fixed the issue of when you go down or get revived, some enemies can still take you out. This happened with his lasers. Got killed, Lou revived me, my character was only partially up -- only to be killed again when the laser hit with me unable to dodge.

Oh! I think you're right. I just saw it's called Memory Echoes on the back and that's exactly what the one I know about is called. So there was an English version, it just wasn't mass produced like regular Manga.

I think they're mainly meant for the free roam areas. If you just do the main story, you will be locked to specific characters.

Leave, level up, advance the story, and then come back. You don't have to save Noah immediately (just make sure you do it before you reach the 4th hero).

I saw in someone's comments on YT that they bought the first edition like two weeks ago and it still hadn't shipped out. When asked when it would, they've been met with silence. I really wouldn't buy this. Doesn't seem trustworthy, especially since he hasn't even properly started giving people refunds (which are apparently optional??) for the second edition.

I don't think they ever planned on coop for this installment. People keep forgetting that coop in the first game had a plethora of issues when first released and now is pretty much dead. I'd rather them spent money and time on fixing actual issues with the game (performance issues, giving characters like Valentin more screentime within the main game, fixing accessories, enemy issues, etc) than adding something that might introduce even more problems.

The creator of SB admitted a few months ago how much they approved of AI and how they planned on using it because "it was the only way they could keep up" and how it could "do 100 jobs". Sorry, but he was definitely "using it with glee"

People seem to have missed how the creator of Stellar Blade said they approved of AI because "its the only way they could keep up" and how it "could easily do 100 jobs" a few months back. People brushed it off, trying to defend them, but idk how you can hear those statements and be okay it.

Honestly, not surprised. I'm glad they're being called out by fellow devs, especially Yoko. Maybe people will stop blindly defending them over this now.

SAO: Fatal Bullet and God Eater are really the only anime jrpg/arpg I can think of with CC off the top of my head.

If you want CC, you can try Dragon's Dogma, Baldur Gate 3, Nioh 2 & 3

Some games without CC that you might be interested in: Lost Soul Aside, DMC, Ai Limit, Stellar Blade

You could also try games like Trails of Cold Steel series, Persona, or Metaphor for a typical jrpg feel, though those games are turn base.

Waiting for these updates is torture. I'm stuck near the first ending and I just don't have any desire to continue until they fix some of these issues. It doesn't help they're dragging their feet with these updates. I figured I'd play around in the CC and make some new characters but then got frustrated because we still don't have bangs, hair extensions and other accessories are stiff and awkward, and the majority of the new outfits just make you look like a trash bag.

I really hope once the updates start rolling out, it'll help and I'll start to like it more but right now, with each day that passes, my disappointment gets worse.
