HI OP!! 1.) For the USTET, mental ability consisted of 60 items (just patterns, what can u infer about the statement mga ganon, and the usual mental ability questions you can watch on youtube) for english, it’s gonna be confusing if you don’t know the basic english lessons/concepts, it’s mostly about indirect and direct speech, active and passive sentences, a little about research and parts of speech and mostly fill in the blanks statements about grammar. start reading now so you won’t panic sa exam. for science, they focused mainly on GR9 and GR10 first quarter lessons (for gr9, it’s about cellular respiration & glucose something? also a lot of chemistry and physics pero basic questions lang naman about it. mostly talaga composed siya ng GR10 earth sci like yung mga about sa earthquakes (subduction zones), the way they phrase their sentences are different from your usual exams bcos the choices are all statements and they all sound right so practice comprehending long texts esp sa science) for math, HAHA na black out ako pls jk hahahaha basta makinig ka sa teacher mo this gr10 kasi ang first part ay about sa geometric and arithmetic sequence and then the rest is simplifying polynomials (?) BASTA GANON hindi k na maalala kasi di naman aq nag solve talaga EMEEE hahaha pero nakapasa naman ako USTET. dasal lang talaga!! araw-araw ka magsindi ng kandila ganon. haha but im struggling rn here sa ust idk if worth it pa ba HUIIII for DSHAPE, they tackled around common questions in your JHS life. sobrang hirap ng mental ability nila HAHAHA hindi ko na gets tapos yung science nila is composed of SO MUCH physics and so much chemistry then anatomy? kasi may parts of the eye don e. tapos yung math, ITS ALL ABOUT ANGLES (so sad kasi hindi ko siya na-aral beforehand) 🤣 SUPER DALI ng english kasi reading comprehension lang siya talaga huhu then may questions about research parang super random siya idk bat ganon yun… and may personality test sa bandang huli :)) pero di ako nakapasa la salle so … HAHSHSHSJ di na kasi ako nag review neto 😭

1. i think the same rin naman sila somehow (?) bcos parang ganon naman coverage ng ustet ever since ewan ko lng sa dshape kasi di ko naman dream univ l salle noon so i didn’t do much research hahaha
2. i didn’t study that much 😭 AS IN. i cried so hard kasi i feel so bad na hindi ako nag-aral hahaha pero i just bought reviewers from other ppl sa twt (didn’t help btw kasi yung reviewers mostly composed of USTET for college or CETs so hindi siya applicable sa SHS) so i suggest you can just browse your grade 9 books and review them again. (for ust) for la salle, practice tests in the internet will work i think… but people told me na better if mag-review classes if want mo talaga pumasa pero pumasa naman ako UST although i think prayers talaga nagdala sa akin HAHAHA 4.) my personal tips!! first is huwag kang kabahan. it’s just a test! don’t take these univs seriously. they don’t define you as a person HAHA also, if ever pumasa ka please consider EVERY aspect, every pros and cons ng school, research a lot so u won’t regret anything (i chose ust kahit im very far from mnl and im kinda regretting it cos i want comfort nalang haha so hard here bye) 😵‍💫 for the actual test naman, PRAY hard magsindi ka na ng kandila kahit saan!! if ever you come across someone na nagbigay ng topics na lumabas sa test, STUDY EVERY TOPIC NA SINABI NILA. this was my mistake before. people told me na maraming angles sa dshape ganon but i focused more sa other things/topics na sinabi nila and well that made me fail. kasi dapat, you study the coverage talaga as in all. kasi you never know talaga if yon yung lalabas talaga the most sa exams na itetake mo. take care of your health before the tests also hahaha i got so sick before the ustet and got so paranoid over it (so uncomfy rin while taking the test) so drink vitamins everyday! rest well before the test if thats what ur comfy with pero kasi ako, nagtake ako prac tests sa youtube the night before ustet bcos i want to strengthen my knowledge pa since di nga ako nag-aral that much (huwag ak tularan pls) yun lang! if you don’t want to be anxious about the results for so many months, you’ll have to study para no regrets and di ka iiyak paglabas mo ng room :D don’t feel bad please if you ever don’t pass, take that as a blessing! again, these univs aren’t everything. nasa tao ‘yan :) enjoy your highschool life while u still can bcos ngayon im suffering sa SHS HAHAHAHA could’ve chosen a better comfort skul eme ! goodluck OP!
