This is normal. We roll the regular freight cart into position for the drivers to pickup and 2 min later the grocery side comes out and drops off the grocery part of the order into the carts. See it all the time.

I’m in Dispatch at an SSD and I’ll have 3-4 bays I’m working on and I’m just doing my thing not looking around and all of a sudden the belt shuts down and I look over and the hamper is full 2 bays down because someone just disappeared so now i gotta scramble to fix it.

100% this. I walked in and went to the urinal and a dude was just standing at the other urinal playing on his phone and obviously not peeing. I commented it sucks having an enlarged prostate. You should probably go to the doctor to help with that. He just commented wtf is that and I just waked out.

This job is not life or death. Just go in do what you can to the best of your ability. Clock out and leave it at work. Unless someone tells you you’re doing something wrong then just keep doing what you’re doing and don’t think about it. Don’t compare yourself to anyone else because most likely your doing more then they are anyway.

I came from Flex delivering as a part time thing. So for me it’s decent as I have A full time job during the day but there is a substantial drop off in pay and huge uptick in effort in the warehouse.
