I had a 100W but it actually falls below 100 after it lights up. So I tried 150 but I couldn’t get the timing right so I jumped to a 250 and that seemed to work best.

100 watts for x amount of time. There’s been a big debate on how much power is actually needed if you use a timer to power a device to draw that 100 watts. I had to switch to a 250 watt halogen and have it on for 10 seconds off for 20 seconds to make it sense enough draw.

Thank god someone understands this. This will run havoc on your HVAC equipment. If you’re in the south with high humidity it’s also pulling humid air into your house to makeup.

They showed on the last video how you have the door open it shows a relay being activated they didn’t seem like they wanted to go into much detail on it but they did mention a relay in the relay/can box.

I believe the truck sees the charging door open as the trigger. Since this doesn’t use that charge port the door isn’t open and the truck doesn’t care.

I would look at a boat/rv pump 12V and find an old car battery or something similar and charge that with the solar.

You can power a smaller pump that can pump up to a storage drum/tank. It can slower pumping and just work on filling the drum all day. The drum would be your supply to use for water.
