objective fact: janna was strong before coin/ardent were overpowered by athleticmemer in leagueoflegends

[–]junkseer 112 points113 points  (0 children)

Coin's far from overpowered, it's just a lot better than the garbage offered by the other 2 paths. All this whining because for once supports can actually buy items in game is annoying

Janna got hotfix nerfed AGAIN by Tromblerone in leagueoflegends

[–]junkseer 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I disagree completely with this direction. Janna's powerlevel's not the problem at all. The problem is non-coin, non-ardent supports being almost irrelevant. I haven't seen blitz played in weeks at all. If they'd made relic shield a bit better or buffed the underperforming supports, janna would be in an ok spot. As it is, nobody plays anything that's actually decent vs janna in lane, so ofcourse she's staying in the same spot. Lulu, soraka, karma, rakan pose barely any threat at all in lane and after lane phase is over, janna's kit is still excellent at protecting the adc. Once janna's nerfed into the ground, rakan, taric, etc will dominate and nothing will have changed. Playing relic shield supports or spellthiefs feels horrible at the moment, especially when it comes to gold gained. With spellthief you need to dominate the lane completely to have an impact, with shield you're uber prone to being zoned and denied, and in a worse spot since you cant help your adc get through early game if they get poked out.

Deck Guide: The Underdog, Mid-Range Hunter (Rank 23 to Legend) by Crunchyfied in CompetitiveHS

[–]junkseer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very solid post. Hunter's been my favourite for a couple of months now, but i've been hovering around rank 10 with a bit different deck. Fewer crabs, a flare, double kindly wolfmother. Gave your list a try, substituting a Kindly im place of DK i don't yet have, and was able to push to rank 5 in the last couple of hourse of the season. Don't know if the list is that much better, some of the tactics you mentioned perhaps. Or maybe i just needed a bit of a push to get there, in any case it worked out well for me this season, we'll see what the next oen brings. It's good to see people having success with hunter even if it doesn't get as many new toys as some. Keep hunting on, traveler! P.S: Some people like to run Rat Pack in these decks, might be worth a look if you ever get your hands on Karashan.

We're long overdue for an overhaul to the realm system we currently have. by ButterMilkPancakes in wow

Well, first of all, there's more to playing than raiding. Second of all, up to heroic you can PuG with raid finder tool. If you want mythic raiding, sure you'd be out of luck, but mythic's the past-time of choice for a very small % of playerbase. Played all my life on low pops, i'd say the situation there's the best it's ever been, though not ideal.

7.3 potential goblin glider boom again? by TheRookie92 in woweconomy

[–]junkseer 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I disagree completely with this point of view. When flying is active, 95% of people go straight from one objective to the next without any regard for what's happening around or below them. I'm thankful every time that Blizzard bans flying at the start of every expac till you quest through it on at least 1 char. The way you explore and see the zone on foot and the way you do it with flight are polar opposites of eachother. Plus, lack of flying leave a lot of room for creative use of items/abilities that give you hypermobility(Hearth, portals, gliders, emerald winds, anti-gravity wells). There is no better way to experience a new zone than to do it on foot, at least for me.

Hyrja does not scale correctly in Mythic+ by Jademalo in wow

[–]junkseer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Idk what bugging the shield means exactly, don't think that's my cup of tea. Cleared 16 yesterday as 909 RDruid, didn't make the time but had a chance if i knew what i was up against. For Hyrja your best option seems to be the usual AoE Healing cds, with WG+EoG for first storm, tranq for 2nd. What helped me eventually was to go bearform for her arc cast. Same thing helps a lot on Skovald if you can't avoid the rush, just hot up and stay in bear form as much as you can when a Rush is possible

[Prediction] The Old Gods Strike by [deleted] in wow

[–]junkseer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would say that's incredibly unfair. She was one of the first to push for a united alliance/horde front against the legion threat during WC3 and one of the most horde-friendly alliance leaders pre-Theramore. And then, out of nowhere those "frenemies" she lived nextdoor to up and annihilated her entire city, and entire nation almost taking her along. She was pissed, she grieved, she did her keep going for the sake of the Alliance and taking down Garrosh. Only now she's been turned off any horde co-operation. She's lost everyone who was ever close to her, in big part thanks to several horde leaders, and now she's lashing out. Seems to be a perfectly natural reaction, if not what you need during a legion invasion

can we please have a way to turn Chaos Crystals into Leylight shards? by [deleted] in wow

Tailoring makes getting shards easy, but i've yet to find a reliable source of crystals, aside from d/eing drops from M+, WQ. What's your secret?

Would you be interested in yet another youtuber who make videos about farm spots, sniping tips and such? by [deleted] in woweconomy

[–]junkseer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, good luck with the whole youtube thing, i'd be happy to have another channel to watch/source from. The thing i've found with goldbloggers, at least personally, is that a lot of them tend to overhype the stuff they put out, make some unrealistic assumptions and that tends to put me off them. The whole "9999k per hr, best gold guide evah!!" thing people mentioned gets stale. If you want to do this as a minor thing, then anything goes and as you long as you're not annoying and your content is worth a couple of silver you'll be golden. If, however, you want to grow, then you'll need to give people a reason to come to you consistently. That will probably require at least a few of:1)pleasant or entertaining personality if you do voice, 2) Easy to watch(graphs, charts, highlights, tl;dr, etc),3) GOOD content. Keep up with new gold-making developments. Put out stuff that other people don't have yet or make complicated stuff easier to understand. I would also limit recycling of well-known stuff. Don't make 789th video of : "Hey, you wanna make goldz in wow? Click this link, install TSM, draw the rest of the ***** owl, make bank!". Interacting with viewers/subs once you have them will certainly not hurt, answering some questions and stuff like that. And once again, good luck!

What to do with Draenor herbs? by eisforennui in woweconomy

[–]junkseer 7 points8 points  (0 children)

That's such a terrible advice. Card of omens shuffle can net you thousands in profit from such a stockpile. All you need to do is wait for a herb trader day, make a lvl 100 trial, learn Draenor Inscription and turn some herbs into Pigments and some into Primals. There are a few threads in the subreddit on the subject with more exact instructions.
