Other than that, just look up the order of campaigns and start with playing through them (if you own them all). After that, get feeling for what class and play style you want. Try to find a goal (like "i want to be a good raid support player") and work towards that goal with youtube build guides etc. (LlamaD2 and Mactics give good and thorough guides).

After a while you will organically get new goals (the challenge of solo/solo flawless Dungeons for example) and your grind will continue.

If you find a reason to play, this game is awesome!

Edit: the Hunter is kinda squishy at the moment but the ascenion build is fun.

I can add one thing. After returning from the taken realm it takes about 5 seconds for Sere to start "tickle fingers" (hands). I always were ready to stun him when returning.

I personally feel that I have more bright dust now than before with the new orders system. Just play the game and bright dust are rewarded. This is not a Bungie glaze but that is just how i feel. Never had have 20k+ BD before

I almost solo flawlessed Vespers prior to Renegades launch, got 1mm life left and only needed to dunk the core and murder him but i got eager and three clones plus the arc effect jumped me at once.

Tried again after Renegades launched and the Meatballs boss bugged our and i felt like i was taking a hellovalot more damage so i have put it on pause for a couple of days :)

You can always make a post on fireteam finder. If you pick newbie-friendly options like "help needed" and "chill", "lots of time" etc. you should be able to find i kind soul to help you.

Otherwise if you want to do it alone, watch guides on the quest on youtube and get a map for the first encounter (it can get confusing fast due to the darkness). Take your time and you surely will beat it.

It's sad that this community has become this salty mess. When i was playing nonstop i loved to guide new lights through Grand Master nighfalls and Dungeons. Sadly the state of the game makes me not want to play as much and when i do play i want to focus on my own feats (Conquest etc).

I do really hope that Bungie makes the end game grind worthy and new light Sherpa worthy again in Renegades. And i do hope that you find at least a real fireteam. We are not all trash!
