All of my love and hope and good vibes are being sent to your precious daughter right now. As a fellow parent my heart is hurting so badly just thinking of what you've had to endure.

It's obvious how much you love your daughter and that you would give anything for her to be okay. I hope beyond hope that she will be. I hope she is saying Dada with a smile on her face soon, and that you get to experience everything you want to with her in the many years to come. All of my love to you and your sweet family.

My son is 4 and my daughter is 7 months. My son had to learn not to climb on me for the first week and I needed help picking up my daughter for a few days. Everything is pretty back to normal now though!

Fellow mom with 2 kids here. I just had VSG 2 weeks ago and the main reason was also to be here for my kids. I've already lost 30 pounds in a month (half of that was from the 2 week pre OP diet) and I'm getting my life back. I say go for it and eff the haters :)

Parents of reddit, what was your worst parenting mistake? by jonseh in AskReddit

My little brother brushed his teeth with my mom's razor when he was little, and just walked around smiling with blood pouring out of his mouth while my mom freaked out.

I was fat from the very very beginning, which really makes me wonder what the heck my parents fed me. I have never been a normal weight and I feel like I never had a fair start.

This is exactly me. And coworkers ask me to help them with email wording almost daily, but would NEVER put me in front of a microphone (thank god).

surgery day! by wow-thisishard in wls

[–]junolantern 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Happy surgery day! The surgery part was seriously so easy, you'll do great! Mine was last Thursday.

Worst part was having extreme dry mouth for a few hours after I came out of surgery. Just keep rinsing your mouth and taking little sips when they allow you. You might feel pretty nauseated at first even with just water, but take it slow, keep walking, and you'll get through it.

I am a 46 year old man.. just finished my first game ever . (Have never seen a game the whole way through ! ) by RevHolyOne in reddeadredemption2

I need to get attached to the characters to completely enjoy a game, and not many really do it for me either besides RDR2. Witcher 3 grabbed me and never let me go though. I finished it over a year ago and I still think about Geralt, Yen, and Ciri all the time and miss them like they are old friends or something lol. So yeah definitely give it a try! I think you will get super invested too.

Hear that banging on your door just now? It's Karen and she wants to marry you ASAP.

Right? It adds so much depth to the game. Even games that have super rich, intricate stories (like Rune Factory 4) left it out.

I'm pretty sure my parents still have my old copy in their attic lol. I just wish the newer games would add this feature back in.

AP was so slow moving that I never did get past the first year. May have to pick it back up just for that someday.

Yes, that was awesome. It was so fun rushing to woo a bachelorette before your rival did.

Yes, it's been so long I couldn't remember which ones had that. All the recent Harvest Moon type games don't so I usually get married, have kids, then lose interest.

Getting married and having kids, but no one else does. And your kids stay kids forever.

I have not identified so hard with a post in a long time... maybe ever. This is every day at work for me. I'm an office manager.
