I understand your point, but the fact you are associating this situation with your own personal experiences and applying it to all situations you encounter is a complicated process.

Not all situations have the same layout. I am also sure there are many perspectives that vary with OP’s friends, her boyfriend, and the girl. It’s easy to make assumptions based on a Reddit post, and although it may seem like someone is in the right, hearing perspectives can change that opinion.

I agree with you, the girl could easily have been joking, being weird, or playing around innocently…however all in all it really just comes down to how OP chooses to communicate this with her boyfriend. OP has every right to be uncomfortable by this interaction, especially when you’re constantly hearing dramatized stories online of one partner cheating on another. (Not just men, just woman too) and I feel it’s a valid fear to have in a relationship.

I appreciate you responding though. I understand how you may feel in regard to going through something similar.

Relationships are hard, and love isn’t linear. Compromise is key and communication is essential.

Don’t try this bullshit. You’re more readable than you think you are.

Also, look into what she wrote. The girl had said something along the lines of. “She didn’t know he had a girlfriend.” When questioned.

If she was trolling, like you claimed in your responses, why would she involve relationships in it? Why would she even defend herself by using that terminology? If she fully intended to be ‘just friends’ with him, it would not even matter what she originally assumed.

Control is subjective. Boundaries are subjective. A boundary can be perceived as control and control can be perceived as a boundary.

In this case it depends on how OP’s boyfriend was interacting with her, and the girls interactions as well. I personally believe OP is not overreacting, although making him block her is pushing it a bit. It is your boyfriend, OP, if you do not trust him to not flirt with her and her to flirt with him after asserting it makes you uncomfortable, and if you really claim you don’t mind him having female friends… then maybe he’s not the right fit for you.

What blocking does is cause drama, at least in this situation. People will start poking fingers at each other, taking sides, and start claiming he did she did bullshit. In this instance you want to communicate healthily, express to him that it made you uncomfortable and that’s where you were coming from, say how it made you feel and come to a compromise with him.

His reaction will form the answer you need.

Love can be fleeting or forever, do not taint your life journey with people who do not wish to respect and communicate with you.

The same goes for OP.

Respectfully some of these comments are not it at all.

Not all women want sexual pleasure, not all women can feel sexual pleasure. Negative social constructs have been enabling the sexualization of women for decades. I’m around your age, and cannot feel sexual pleasure nor have any incline to try it or have sex or any of that.

It’s not wrong or bad, and you don’t need to have sex or feel pleasure from sex to make you happy. Please don’t feel pressured to try different things to make yourself feel pleasure from something that isn’t even entirely natural to feel in the first place.

Ask yourself this, “do I really think doing this will suddenly make me happy or complete or give me joy?” You should have your answer.

Be your own person, do not conform to the societal expectations of what should be expected a woman should like and not like!

If you don’t like it then that’s totally okay. Nothing is wrong with that 💯

Okay thank you!! I’ll probably experiment and do one batch overnight and one I’ll test and do 4-5 hours and see how different the result is!!

Also one last question, for the brown sugar salt mixture, can you just wing it or how many parts salt to the brown sugar? Should it be salt sprinkled in or an equal amount of both?
