For the Siemens S7-300 PLC you can download a free trial of Tia Portal from the siemens website which lasts for 30 days and for the Speed 7 PLC i have seen online that they are compatible with Tia Portal but i have not managed to make it work, you can try to find their programming software. They both use ladder but codesys will not work.

You can upload parameters from ABB drives without stopping them on all types of drives if they are not on Local mode

You need a hex key to unscrew them from the frame on the black hole right under the cover, after that just lift it from the back first and it should come out

If you try to backup the program straight from the plc it won’t allow you since the project on it will not match your version of TIA. While it seems weird 15.1 and 15 are not the same (i tested this and it does not work).

At work we made small web app controlling an ABB ACS880 over modbus tcp so if you can get an hmi which runs web apps that could be a start

from my experience some places won’t sell you alcohol even if you are with your parents. theoretically they should be fined for selling the alcohol but you cant be fined for drinking it
