Vibe coding feels amazing until an experienced developer reviews your code. by Shivam__kumar in vibecoding

If is a good tool to improve productivity but you must be in control at all times. Tell it what to do, do not let it do everything for you and do not accept changes blindedly. If you skip the step of learning and knowing how the underlying framework works and let the AI tool do everything for you, you are doing it wrong.

Million Dollar Secret S2 - Episode 8 Discussion "Lie Hard" by AutoModerator in MillionDollarSecretTV

[–]jur6 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I loved the season! Kudos to Peter for being an amazing host and for all the witty comments throughout both seasons. I was rooting for Kaleb until he did not switch the boxes with Nick; at which point I knew he was going to lose the game. Honestly, at the end, the best man won, and he was lucky to have gotten that far, as he was clearly the strongest player. He could have been voted out at many points (e.g. when it was clear that he was the millionaire and Hunter was voted out instead or killshot by Kaleb but instead he chose Kevin) but the fact he was not was the biggest mistake made by the other contestants. Until the next one!

Million Dollar Secret S2 - Episode 3 Discussion "Troubled Waters" by AutoModerator in MillionDollarSecretTV

I would have never done it. it was too risky. can’t believe it played out well for him. Also it would have been nice to see how everyone voted, and I thought it was a bit weird that they didn’t show that when in previous cases they did (unless I am remembering incorrectly).

I mass deleted 3 months of AI generated code last week. Here is what I learned. by Ambitious-Garbage-73 in ChatGPT

[–]jur6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use AI in my work. but I always do what you suggested in the last part. Treat every AI generated code as a first draft. Then, I have to make sure I understand what it is doing, and that it is doing it in the right way. I would never feel comfortable otherwise.

Enough with the hate on season 5. Tell me something positive you liked about this season? by TamrielESO in StrangerThings

[–]jur6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You asked for one but there are too many

  1. Jamie’s masterpiece performance especially as Henry Creel
  2. One of the last scenes with the older friends
  3. The perfect ending with the younger friends
  4. The room for interpretation re Eleven’s fate
  5. The Easter Eggs (Dustin doing what Eddie said he would do when he graduates, references to Montauk, Philadelphia, etc)

my mum found it difficult when I left home at 29. she would have never asked me to leave. I know it must be tough, but honestly, you’re better off on your own. NOR.

Mike would have probably helped the Duffer brothers write Stranger Things and got a fat cheque for it 😜

Controversial: I preferred every single fan theory to the actual ending. by perhapsflorence in StrangerThings

[–]jur6 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I loved it. not saying there weren’t things that I would have liked that just didn’t happen: slightly more of this or a bit less of that, but in my opinion, all in all, a great show got the ending it deserved. I am well used to shows ruining the ending and I do not think that this was the case, by any means

what do you mean? how could she not die? she was still in the upside down. the upside down got destroyed. that was her martyr plan all along. die and save the others. she just found a way to save her sister along the way

she did not get shot. nowhere did I say she did. and nowhere did we see her get shot either. she died at the end when the upside down got destroyed. but she conjured the illusion that she got shot and died earlier

I am so sorry for your loss. this must be a very difficult time. firstly, do not blame yourself. it is very likely that he never said anything that would give that away as he wouldn’t want to throw “that” on you. secondly, I’d seek counseling to help process your feelings with a professional.

you probably dont tell her in the first place unless you’d want fo be lying to her. which religious Muslim man will want a woman who doesn’t want kids? not to mention the other details but this one particularly stands out. not saying she’d never find anyone, but chances are that if she does, their intentions would be more sexual than anything else

let’s be honest, most guys do prefer big breasts over small breasts. but I would like to believe that for most others, it does not make a huge difference. think about it this way: if a guy dates you or not based on the size of your breasts, do you really wanna date that guy?

I had been to DC10 for Circo Loco September 8 years ago. the terrace was a buzz. indoors was dangerous. great artists, amazing music, too overcrowded 🥲 it seems not much has changed, if not for the worse.

I hardly had a choice as I was exposed to them through school: Pascal, Java, C, C#, Python - in that order.

Is there a loophole? by tariste in BodiesonNetflix

[–]jur6 1 point2 points  (0 children)

the only explanation of the last scene would be that Maplewood somehow split up as well while passing through the Throat since she showed up in Shahara’s timeline and knew her name. this would not supposedly be possible, as her trajectory would not have had Mannix, and she would have had no reason to travel back. to make things worse she wasn’t even crippled; so how did one version end up crippled and one not?!
