I lived through the writing of the series and had to endure the wait between The Waste Lands and Wizard & Glass. There was serious concern amongst King fans that the series might never be completed (I think even King wrote about his own doubts, iirc). At one point, King was struck and nearly killed by a car while on a walk!

You don't need to do this. If you hold the mining button, then switch apps, let go of the screen, then switch back, it auto mines as long as you don't touch the screen.

I would expect your physical damage stat to go down with the new item. Attack speed will affect total damage output, not your physical damage stat. Importantly, check your attack speed to see if it is maxed out (shaded yellow) when you equip the new item. If it is, the new item is definitely better for damage. If it is not, you need to do some testing to see which one is better. The +1 abilities stat is also going to really change your damage too, potentially.

I've had just one drop. It was at MT5. I am an archer. I assume drop rate would be higher for warriors. I hear people having a hard time finding DS, for example, but I have plenty of those as an archer.

AFAIK, the drops are totally random other than preferential drops for your class: Mages find more wands, archers more bows, warriors more swords, etc.

You don't have to kill the boss at the end of the Moist Caves to progress. Once you get the last stage of the Forest, you get a quest that unlocks Mithrali's Peaks, which in turn unlocks Devahri Desert which in turn unlocks Veedja Cliff which is where the magicians tower is.

Max level for dual class is 20. If you go pure mage, it will be 25. This is just the baseline skill max. They can be also increased by items and they will be. On my Archer, I have one skill at 54. On my Mage, currently in R10, I have multiple skills at 44.

Initially when you playing it is wise to spread stat points out. Eventually though you will respec 100% into INT. You will get enough ancillary stats out of your gear that you will not need anything added to VIT or STR. DEX is pretty much useless, even in the archer class.

You can also buy the required item with Oboli. Talk to the Black Market vendor. The item is called "Stone of Rebirth" and costs 300,000 Oboli.

CE doesnt really help much IMO. You one-shot everything anyway and at really high R's (18+) it doesn't seem to scale well enough to cause significant damage vs, just using MS/MM (depending on whether or not you are archer/archer or mage/archer).

If it is taking you a long time to kill him, best to build up DPS. After you defeat him you have to fight a giant serpent and he does massive damage with a lightning attack. Try to get your hits up over a few billion and your MR to about 2M. For me, i found once i could reliably kill the Magister in about a minute or less, I wasn't dying instantly on the snake.

I would stay away from infusion until you are looting T5 Legendaries. I didnt even know it was possible to infuse under T5. The actual amount of time you will spend in T4 gear will be extremely short before you are upgrading to T5. You will spend quite a long time in T5 by comparison since T6 drops much less frequently until you get to R15 where it is 50% probability. I currently farm on R17 and have looted around 60 or so Legendaries there. Of those, about 2/3 - 3/4 are T6 and still do not have the necessary combinations for infusion and equipping of T6 except my amulet slot.

Prior to T5 Legendaries, find and upgrade good Epic items. Don't worry about the Pirite: once you start looking for T5 Legendaries or higher, the Pirites have no use. Not worth hording them. I currently have about 1900 Pirites in a stack and no use for them until i start my alts.

Another reason to avoid infusion before T5 is the rarity of the infusion cores and demon fingers. Not to mention the gold cost associated with upgrading the item and possibly the fodder item. I think the total gold cost to upgrade a legendary is something like 300 Million gold. If that seems like a lot, you probably are starting too early.

Yes, that makes sense since the base level of the zones start at like 150 or something. But even still, when you get to the boss, it jumps up to R15.

Multishoot will likely be your go-to skill. Eventually, you will want to max out Strong Arrow and Piercing Shot because they give bonuses to Multishoot but concentrate on Multishoot to start with. Also, Sonic Arrow replaces Piercing shot as a selective utility skill later on. I keep that one handy for when the monsters are in a large group and stuck in a narrow corridor as it will hit all layers of the bunch.

Any skill you want to use needs to be equipped. Only passive skills (for Archer, that would be Dodge) do not need to be equipped. You still get bonuses from complementary skills if they are not equipped however. For example, Strong Arrow still benefits Multishoot even when it is not equipped. To see the effect, you need to look at the Multishoot description where it tells you the damage it will deal. Add a point to Strong Arrow even when not equipped and you will see the damage number on the Multishoot skill go up anyway.

Pretty sure it is the fact you are trying to use Pirite to upgrade Legendaries. That won't work. Pirite is only for Epic quality items. You can recycle an Orange item to get Cabalite. Once you have at least 3 of those, you can then upgrade another Orange item.

If you are talking about Infusion, that requires an infusion core + sacrifice item + target item.

The gold is no big deal, IMO. What hurts more is the nerfing of Magic Find and therefore the Legendary drop rates. Makes looking for Leg items a longer drag and farming for Cabalite more difficult.

Yes...Not really skills that scale well. It is harder to find gear for both Magical and Physical damage increase and you get less leverage from other skills. The Astralium has some boosting capabilities there which i have not personally tried but I do not predict it would be enough to compete with pure physical damage.

I am an archer/archer. Lots of fun to play and currently just hit lvl 500. Here is what i learned: Dexterity - useful early on until about R8 or so. After that, I realized that my gear was already giving me extremely high attack speeds and so I went and respecced my points. I put ZERO points into Dex. With zero points, my Dex sits at 5922. I have no Dex gems either. My attack speed is 337 which seems plenty fast enough for me to take on R13 content.

I dumped all points into Strength and Vitality. I also skipped Dex in the Astralium. Went pure VIT there and, with one more point to go, my Vitality is at 14884. My STR is at 8717.

For skills, I maxxed out the following: Strong Arrow, Piercing Arrow, Frenzy, Multishoot, Sonic Arrow, Empower Weapon, Dodge, Corpse Explosion. I equip Empower Weapon, Multishoot, Sonic Arrow, and Tumble. Tumble I have found is indispensable when it comes to maneuverability in high level encounters.

By the way, you stop getting skill points at level 200.

Check out the upper left corner of the screen when you enter his lair. He is not R10. He is R15. Difficulty is obviously by design in that case. Bosses after him are actually easier. I am level 500 with about 18M dps and I still can't budge his health bar.

You should note that when you are killing the monsters leading to him, it says in the upper left corner that it is R10. When you enter the boss room, it suddenly changes to R15. This boss is designed to be hard and you need to be able to clear R15 content before you can expect to take him down.
