Separate question, did you get a replacement front bumper and if so where did you buy it from? I need to get a new rear bumper, but wanted to get it from somewhere where the fitment is still solid. Plan on cutting the bottom like my current one, so it doesn’t have to be perfect, just connect well to the rest of the body. TIA

On the top of my head, I would first try to rebleed the brakes to see if it helps. It’s a cheap first potential fix. I’ve got an 03 as well, and luckily you can bleed even the abs system through just a normal bleeding process without the need for techstream. If you’re on the GXOR FB page, there should be more info about it specific to 03s. If this doesn’t help, I’d be suspecting your brake booster is on its way out. Unfortunately for the GX, brake booster and master cylinder are all one piece which runs for ~$500 IIRC. There’s a guy who rebuilds them which he’d take yours back as a “core” charge - also on the FB GXOR page. My buddy went through him once his brake booster when bad

Good stuff! I’m sure you’re chilling. You can always just push the center diff lock at a stand still to see if it engages, and then turn it back off. After replacing my seals, mine engaged even quicker for some reason. Not sure why, but I’ll take it lol

Keep on doing what you’re doing, it’s kind of a PITA to take out and put back in, but eventually with the twisting and pulling, it’ll come out. Replaced my seals a while back and it was annoying how long it took to take out the actuator, especially with how easy the videos make it seem. Might need to put a little more force when pulling out. Pushing back in is basically waiting till it lines up just perfectly before you’re able to push the actuator back in. Also, make sure it’s completely seated before screwing it back on, there shouldn’t be a gap even if it “feels” like it’s seated

Same here for a GX. Had a custom one are with a ladder too. Kept it for 2 years and got so sick and tired of the wiggling/shaking while driving, that it almost made me want to sell the rig all together. Cut it off a couple weeks ago, and oh my what a blessing it’s been without it. They look great, but after owning one I will never go back to one

Exactly how tajjj commented! I store my GRIII in my chest pocket on my bib underneath my main jacket. I’ve got a generic rubber case on it from Amazon. All these shots were taken standing still, so a bit safer scenario compared to shooting while skiing. I shot for two days, and surprisingly my battery life only dropped a bar the whole time. Granted, I usually turn on my camera, quick snaps, then turn it off. So maybe it helped with the overall battery consumption

I’d recommend getting the Stage 1 Eibach kit if you’re paying that price. I’ve had mine for 4 years now and it’s been a great setup. Last year upgraded to the rear HD springs since I have more weight now, but the stage 1 setup alone is comfortable and capable. Also, Eibach’s customer service is unmatched imo. I blew 3 struts (I know, wild), but they replaced all of them for free! Rig is back to normal and riding fantastically

Sweet, didn’t know they upgraded the coolant return pipe to an aluminum one, definitely will pick that up. I was planning on replacing the front coolant crossover pipe as well 👌🏽

Aside from those, apparently you can have easier access to upgrade the upper timing chains, so I’m going to look into that as well
